Non-scheduled MIC order holders, are you switching to a soft top? If so, when?

Those that don't have build dates, but want the Bronco sooner, are you waiting until after the August build schedule has been emailed out before switching to a soft top?

I was thinking of waiting until after this Thursday to see if I get an August build date with my MIC, and if not, switching to soft top and hopefully getting on the September build list with the hard top hookups for free.
What are the rest of y'all doing?

Correct, thanks for the reminder - I've updated and added an option to the poll for 2 door orders.

With all the bumping going on all the way to at least August 23rd week does anyone think there will be much room left for new VINs? It will surprise me if any new VINs are scheduled in anything but the very last week in August. Most will be September.

2-doors, and I have no interest in a non-insulated top.

Between 110+ in the summer and -40 in the winter with winds that tip trucks over year round a soft top doesn't appeal to me.

I am in the same boat, I want to take delivery ASAP. Would really like to keep my MIC Top that’s the only sin I have my order is 4 door BB 2.3 mid, with lockers reservation date of 7/28 order date 1/23. Any chance of getting a my 21 without switching to soft top?

I was contemplating switching to a soft top, but then I stuck with my own advice: Stick to my original build because that’s what I truly want.

I’m not going to sacrifice my MIC top because Webasto can’t get their shit together.

I’ve always been a soft top order with no constraints. I’ll see my Bronco in 2223. Ah well. Such is life.

The only thing I like about the soft top is that you can open up the top without having to take it off. I don't like how it opens in the back. Then there's the idea of having to pay what will probably be a good amount of money to get a hard top later doesn't interest me.

To those of you who are switching to a soft top: I really hope you want a soft top. If not, you’ve fallen into Ford’s trap… Giving the customer something they don’t really want (or else you would Have ordered that to begin with…), but will be able to hook them in the future to buy a MIC or modular hard top for a much higher price point.

Although a soft top may help you get an earlier build date, they are still building Bronco’s with MIC tops this yea… *knock on wood*
