Auto start stop eliminator

What’s up fam! As we (hopefully) approach delivery or build schedule, I wanted to start getting some things in line as far as day one accessories.

does anyone have an experience with auto start/stop eliminators? It drove me nuts in the AT4. I get there’s a switch, but I’d like to disable the feature completely. Are there any cons? Any companies you have experience with that may launch a bronco specific one?

I’ve heard plug some sort of light or pig tail into the trailer tow hitch plug or plug something into the 12V outlet inside. Can’t confirm, but those are what I heard have worked on other vehicles before.

You can always hard wire it to a toggle switch to always have it disabled and thats probably the cheapest route to go down as well

there are products for jeeps that have that in a OBD device. it can also recalibrate the tire size for the speedometer and various other parametres. just a matter of time until someone develops it.

yes!this company has a bronco sport one so I’m sure they’ll launch bronco sooner or later. Just wondering if any negative

I always wonder exactly what about it drives people nuts. Can you go in to more detail on that? I’ve only ridden in 1 vehicle that had it and after the first 1-2 times it just didn’t bother me.

I don't like the idea of the engine shutting down at a stoplight. The ford focus I'm renting has this, and it drives me crazy. Why doesn't Ford make this an option? Because no one would want it.

Honestly it’s just me being weird and lazy as far as turning it off every time.

a lot of my driving is starting and stopping so hearing the motor stop and then start after 4 seconds drives me nuts.

agreed. GM is disabling it for V8s which is awesome
