I'm assuming that this is only on the ATs not on the MTs. Anyone know for sure?

I believe it's on both - but only when you release the clutch out of gear on the manual.

My 2019 BMW M3 did the same.

I believe itā€™s all. Triggered to start by depressing the clutch on manuals.

Well, I will definitely have to get used to that. I've never had a vehicle that does that.! Thanks

Not that big of a deal to turn it off each time you start the vehicle. If you can push a button to start the vehicle, Iā€™m sure you can press one more - itā€™ll become second nature.

On the Ranger5g forum an industrious owner found that plugging a low draw led night light into the 110V receptacle will fool the system into into thinking it isn't ready to work. Works just fine, and a lot cheaper than the disabler you plug into the wiring. However, I have no idea if this will work on the Bronco.

On some vehicles, it's pretty unobtrusive. On others, it really takes some getting used to. I suppose if you drive regularly in city traffic with stoplights, I assume you'll get used to it quickly. If you're in backwoods most of the time and occasionally have it triggered, it will likely catch you by surprise. At least it's avoidable if you find you don't like it.

Hoping there is a small wire monitoring battery voltage we can unhook... no voltage, no turn off.

I used it on a manual Wrangler and it didnā€™t bother me in the slightest. Itā€™s just a part of building a car in 2021. Donā€™t know why so many people here whine about it.

Hmm, wonder if a dash cam would do the same...
