I was going through my digital manual and caught that the Aux switch ratings were different than what Bronco Nation had released previously. My apologizes if this has been covered already but I did not see it posted anywhere as I was looking for confirmation.

Previous info released by Bronco Nation:
Ford Bronco AUX Auxiliary Switch Ratings are updated from previous specs switch guide

What the Manual shows (and I did confirm the fuse size matches):

I found that out last night when I was wiring up my Baja A-pillar lights. Their install guide showed the new fuse ratings, and I thought it must be wrong, becuase I was referencing the BN post from a while ago like you have shown. So I looked it up in the manual, and sure enough, Ford upgraded the fuses and wires! Good job Ford!

I noticed this when installing my KC lights. Glad they upped them.

Depends on the lights etc. They will list their AMP draw. My KC's draw 4amp each. So I used aux 6 which is 10amp.

Good find.
Anyone know if the Aux switches can be installed by the dealer or a DIY?

Most likely the wire sizes and fuses were designed like that from the beginning and the documentation is just catching up.

Then you should hire a 3rd party installer or have the dealership install any accessories that require wiring.

As someone who is strongly considering upgrading the standard audio package, could Aux1 or even Aux2 be used to power an amplifier for a subwoofer (considering a 1000W sub would use about 11 amps)?

Any reason you want to put the amplifier on a switch? I would think running a dedicated cable to the battery, with an inline fuse, would be a better option.

Just thought it might be easier to DIY, just extend the wire from its location to the amplifier, then figure out how to get the signal back there.

Understood, however, I believe the wires that Ford utilizes to extend the AUX switches throughout the Bronco are ~15 AWG. Unless you are a using a low wattage amplifier, I suggest wiring directly to the battery. A little more work, but much more peace of mind.

Do NOT wire a winch to any of these!!!
Wire a winch directly to the battery with 00 battery cables!
The Warn 12Klb winch on my F250 pulls 780 440 amps at Full Hoot.
(There! I fixed it!)
