Why I selected Auxbeam.
The Reviews were positive with few issues and those that had issues received warranty replacement. Price was under $200 for the set with harness. Specs meet my needs. Seem to get a lot for your money.
They have Amber or Clear lens models, I choose Amber.
The install.
This was easy since it’s all prewired.
I did not connect to my Aux switch’s since I wanted to test the factory setup and if there was a problem I could return. I will give them 2 months and then I’ll wire into the Aux switchs.
This harness includes a 20amp fuse at the power input, a relay which I think was 40 volt. The lights have a pigtail with waterproof connections for the harness. The lead with the on/off switch’s has a disconnect not water proof however that should be in your cab as it’s about 20” from the switch’s.
I ran the wire under the mirror cowel cap and into the door as it’s a temp hookup.
Performance and features.
This has a 2 button switch, a daytime running light and the main beams. The DRL does not provide any trail lighting it is only for looks and it looks great at night adding a cool profile to the Bronco Signature lights.
the main beams have a mix of floods and spots, it also has 3 led and reflectors stacked on the left and right sides. These send light out sideways and slightly backwards and that makes a big difference with visibility.
These are very bright and cast light everywhere in front of you. I drove on the trails in medium to heavy FL rain for 30 minutes last night and suffered no eye strain and had no issues with blind spots. As of the first outing no water entered the lights. 10 minute highway speed to and from the forest.
Pics will be added below if you see anything wrong with my wiring location choices feel free to suggest a better location.
I bought these myself and in no way being compensated for this post. I have no connection to the brand.
Hopefully this helps someone who was considering these.
If they fail at any time I will update this post.
