Hello.

Brand new member here. I love my 2003 F-150 but the old blue truck has 275k miles on it. Nary a problem but it is time to upgrade. I was looking at the rangers and like them. But I would rather have a Bronco. I have seen release dates of 2020 and 2021. If it is 2020 I will limp along in my 2003 but if it is later, I may go with the ranger and deal with the disappointment.
So my question is, when will the release date in the USA be?

Thanks all

It is a scheduled to be a 2021 MY with a late 2020 availability. We'll see if they are able to hold true to the timing. If you really want a Bronco and dont want to wait a full year at the earliest I would suggest just buying a decent used vehicle or continue limping the f-150. Nothing wrong with the Ranger, its a great little truck, but I personally wouldn't want to deal with that fast of a turnover/depreciation of a new vehicle if you ultimately want the Bronco anyway. Then again, I never recommend buying any new cars, huge waste of money! That said, i'll be biting the bullet on this one....

TMG....your enthusiasm for the Bronco has been a north star on a number of these pages. I myself am a 'beauty is only skin deep' kinda person. I'm not worried about the ruggedness aspects - only how proportional & gorgeous the L/W/H and sheetmetal is. I'm curious....have you actually seen the vehicle as yet?

...
It depends on how you want to define "release" or "available".

You'll probably be able to order/purchase in 2020 after the official debut, but ... it is unlikely that you'll be able to take physical possession until some time in 2021.

I have seen no physical sheet metal for the new body, only the mules and certain hardware. I have however seen a lot of the CAD, both body and chassis and thats enough for me to be super excited. I think they nailed the L/W/H ratios as well as the tire size/aspect ratio

Especially the 4 door (since thats what I was most interested in) I know this is not a popular opinion here but I think the 2-door wranglers look dorky, something goofy with the ratio's but the 2 door bronco looks better imho, so much better that I wouldnt count myself out of getting one of those actually... (i'll most likely get the 4 door though)

Sweet! I've got a 2 door full size Bronco, and while it's awesome, my family needs dictate a 4-door for daily use. If the shadow on the leaked Baby Bronco pic is accurate, I think the 4 door BroncoBronco is going to be awesome.

KJV915 - also keep in mind that if you were to purchase one of the first Broncos out I am sure that the dealers will have their ADM on the sticker.

Same (maybe). I'm new car averse and never thought I'd consider it but here we are. It's not so much as depreciation as I'd plan on keeping it long term (10+ years). I'm just concerned about the initial cost sticker shock when considering how much higher trim Wranglers and Gladiators were/are going for. I recall someone posting on here some kind of MSRP +10k fee on a Gladiator that was in a lot. Supply/demand I guess but that will completely blow me out of buy consideration for awhile.

A much as I need a new vehicle, I'd rather be throwing sparks and trailing smoke with all the windows busted out than pay over MSRP.

Unless Ford is feeling especially generous I doubt I'll have one within the first few months of availability. More practice for the line crew and QC before they build mine.

Hey....add 'programmers' to that list. I bought a Renegade Trailhawk from the first shipment into NC...99% of my issues have been software flashes.

ADM. Look at the Bullitt. Once it hit show room floors the ADM went away almost immediately. After about a month MSRP deals were commonplace. This is in the good old nation of Texas mind you. Although going to be super cool, the BroncoBronco will not demand the ADM after they hit the floor like the initial release of the GT350 and the soon to be released GT500. The ADM on the GT350 stuck around for a bit but I waited and got an MSRP deal on a 2017 in March 2017. I suspect the ADM on the GT500 may take a year+ to die down. That's when I will buy one if not a BroncoBronco. I am still conflicted on that one.
I just don't see the BroncoBronco demanding a ADM but for a month or 2 after they hit dealerships.

Something to keep in mind is that the "BroncoBronco" will have different trims at the very least, and different "tiers" at the most (think Raptor vs F-150 or GT-500 vs Mustang GT) based on some of the naming convention we have seen this is a fair assumption. I cant say for sure which of these strategies they are following but there certainly could be versions of the Bronco that demand ADM (unfortunately fortunate)

WOW.....I'm jealous.....I have a 2008 F 150, 76K miles(work close to home), have replaced a radiator, starter, alternator, gear shifter knob/assembly, shocks and to my absolute dismay front coil springs and like my brother tells me I drive like an old man ;) BUT the engine and tranny are going strong, the 04 - 08 did have a history of coil springs failing who knows where Ford bought them then .

To say you have a KEEPER is an understatement.....congrats !
