I honestly don't know the TAS. The plane has been so modified with the STOL stuff and a PPONK engine that the POH is basically worthless. I know it was slow. I think that is ground speed indicated in the corner of the G5.

Yeah. My wife is an AF SJA. Between cops and pilots, she stays pretty busy.
I know this is a worthless post without pics but my dad is currently recovering the wings on his PT-17 Stearman. He's got a few other cool planes in the squadron as well.

Hahaha, Love this stuff. Sorry that a lot of the Mil pics were of birds that take 6000 feet of runway to put warheads on foreheads. My first platform was the mighty A-6E

The FBO of the little airport I fly out of has a really nice fieldhouse entrance that the planes hangered there take turns displaying. I don't know, but I guess they may get some type of tax break as a display. It's really nice for the public to see all these different planes up close as there is a ton of diversity here in a little airport. Lots of warbirds, back country planes, helos, and just some cool stuff both new and old.
