I won't even try to list them, but everyone has now been made aware that there are some real strange things going on with Trims and Options and what you can't get with what. In many of those cases, there almost seems to be a weight theme or some sort of physics coming into play.

Just starting to wonder if the Bronco design is so close to the edge that we literally can't do things like add a roof rack with Sasquatch because the Bronco will flip in hard turns (was that the Suzuki Samurai issue back in the day?)

Anyone thinking that with all this BS, bad proof reading, and chaos, that reading between the lines might indicate a serious safety flaw in the Bronco Design?

I was thinking it was more the height of the car, and avoiding potential problems with delivering the car. Then it’s on ford.

Every BOF off road vehicle handles like garbage and is at a higher rollover risk.

But there are other items besides Height... Like you can't get Bash Plates if you buy the Widget... and those are lower Center of Gravity.

Bronco may sit higher and has a wider footprint than a Jeep, correct? Watching vids of loaded up Jeeps, those things are swaying back and forth a bunch.

It'll be fine...plenty of people build Jeeps way higher than Bronco without problems. Suzuki Samurai might have had that issue....but noe reason very few Bronco IIs are left out there is that those things would roll on fast exit ramps. Modern day Bronco won't be a problem.

there's safe enough for me to drive and trust......
then there's NHSTA safe!

Believe me, they're not even close to each other.

So for example, in another thread someone stated that when they selected the V6 they were not allowed to have the roof rack.. but someone else said that the 2 door was ok. Well the 4 door is heavier.

So not talking just height.... but seems like they are pushing the weight limits and have to keep it under a certain weight... question is why?

Yes these could just be bugs... but odd they all seem to be weight themed.

I understand everyone is frustrated with B&P - but is it THAT hard to understand that the engineers in product development and manufacturing....you know the ones that actually affect the final product. Have NOTHING to do with the IT / WebDesign teams.

By your logic, V6 is heavier than I4 = lower center of gravity for V6, therefore the V6 should be able to have a roof rack.

2DR shorter wheelbase, more apt to tip, should not have a roofrack.

Using your logic it seems that Ford is making it MORE dangerous.

OR the simplest answer is the correct one - and B&P is all messed up, and will eventually be corrected.

But continue on with these theories, they're good for a chuckle at least.
