I learned to drive on a manual, have owned 2 manual cars (Acura RSX and Honda S2000), loved Manuals, But getting an auto for the Bronco. For 2 reasons.....1.) my fiancée will drive it as well and she doesn't do manual and 2.) In Socal traffic, adaptive cruise is a life saver. That one feature is why I'm getting the lux package lol . wish it was a stand alone option.

If I had unlimited funds, I would buy 2 broncos. The one I'm already buying and wait till 2022 and get a 2 door, badlands mansquach with high package....

Yes. Would’ve strongly considered manual if all the gizmos would have come with it (remote start, trail turn, etc) and if it would’ve been available on the 2.7. Auto it is. My knees will probably thank me later for going auto anyway.

Both my wife and I can drive a MT, but we decided to go for the AT in the Bronco.

I learned to drive in a manual transmission Mustang. Right now I have two Mustangs and a Dodge truck with manuals . I prefer to drive an automatic off-road.

Quick poll of you awesome members.

So I am guessing that most (more than 50%) of B6G members can drive a manual and @Drex thinks it’s less than 50%. Made me curious but yes or no, can you drive a manual?
And 50% of those that can’t will still vote they can because they want to feel included.

I think people some of the people who can’t or are kind of on the line of not being able to aren’t responding. Also, just because someone may be able to, doesn’t mean they want to screw around with it in someone else’s car.

Personally, I can get from A to B so I said I can drive them, but it has always been in an old beat up Jeep that my buddy didn’t care if I added a little extra wear and tear. If I worked as a valet, I would just say I couldn’t rather than risk damaging someone else’s car.

You overestimate how many of us have ever even dealt with an a valet...

1 times for me, I declined. That time was the wife's car which is automatic (the Bronco will be replacing it which is why it is also automatic)

There is a very short list of people that drive my 5-speed Ranger, pretty sure some random valet guy is not on it.

How many can drive a manual without using the clutch?
Used to do this with a tractor-trailer. Much easier than in a car.

It's possible that the Broncos enthusiasts here tend to be older. I've seen a lot of threads where people are nostalgic about the old Broncos. I'm too young to really know much more about the old Bronco than the fact OJ famously drove away in one.

I love the 6G Bronco tho obviously.

All that to say, higher chance older drivers know how to drive a manual than younger
