Had an 85CJ7 that was restored with a 4 speed manual on a V8. Loved it but going auto on the Bronco.

I learned to drive manual at 12 years old. My first car was a manual. I have driven auto for the last 11 years and really miss dropping that hammer.

I call bullshit on these responses. In the US, less than 20% can drive a manual. I know this forum is over represented by enthusiasts, but I suspect some people are being generous with the representation of their skills.

Where's the option for "Technically yes, but only competent enough to get to Autozone with less than 3 stalls each way"?

Been driving manuals since I was nine. Learned in my dads '64 chevy three on the tree. I've had manuals off and on throughout my adult life. I currently have my '69 corvette and my 2000 Wrangler which are both manuals. I don't drive them daily, but I do drive them pretty regularly. (y)

Is that an NP205 or a doubler? Super high five if it’s the BW doubler set up.
Just a 205.

Someday I wouldn't mind doing the 203 doubler to it though (hence the alluded growing a fourth stick)

Quick poll of you awesome members.

So I am guessing that most (more than 50%) of B6G members can drive a manual and @Drex thinks it’s less than 50%. Made me curious but yes or no, can you drive a manual?
yes (drove a manual for years), but several knee surgeries later make driving a manual no longer an option for me

So I'll say this, which heavily influenced my decision for my Badlands. I've owned 8 Manuals and 6 Autos over the years. All but one manual I've had, I wish I could have back. And for the Autos, there's only one I miss. So even though I longed for the 2.7, no slushbox for me on this one. I'm becoming more and more convinced I've made the right choice with the 2.3 7MT.
