In the 2nd snapshot below MT. Crested Butte is in the Distance and the townsite of Gothic is in the middle of the valley. The road in the Valley floor gives access to a bunch of equally stunning valleys some needing 4x4 and high clearance, others not. I'm really looking forward to doing this with th roof and doors off.

The first one is looking a bit more west. BTW the road I'm standing on for these is probably one of the first little mild off-road bits I'll likely take the Bronco on when I get it home. It's one of the nearby places we usually take out of town visitors. That kind of use is one reason why we're going with th 4dr. Most of our friends are old enough to have outgrown the days of climbing in the back of a 2dr anything.
It's all good, most all these trails are doable with 33s or even 285s. The only thing you need to ensure with smaller tires is that you get skid plates incase you're doing something rocky. And if you have a spotter it'll make things even easier.
