Well, the name "Ford" and "Cobra" sort of have a long history together...Maybe they should re-brand it to MIC Snakeskin top ?

The seals for step one are with the windows, it does not tell you on the instructions that come with it.Well mine showed up yesterday, before the Bronco, naturally!
I owned a few jeeps and each top leaked at some point or another. Nothing is perfect these days. What a disaster.
Jeep has been doing this for years and years. So glad I ordered with a soft top- it’s not perfect, but it’ll be better than the disaster of a hard top. Come on Ford, get it together!
Very true. I’m sure Jeep has their issues (mine has not-yet anyway), but nothing like this.I owned a few jeeps and each top leaked at some point or another. Nothing is perfect these days.
Wow. This is supposed to be the mic 2.0? I’ll definitely be giving mine the white glove inspection(Ford is aware and in communication, so we don't need to keep pinging them)
Updated photo from this AM. My hands aren't Samsquatch in real life, that's just the zoom level. You can see the fuzzy look on the edge, and that wasn't there when I picked it up 5 days ago. You REALLY have to be looking for it though.
Bad news, folks. This is a MIC 2.0 top built 10/1, delivered 4 days ago.
Top looked excellent at pickup. Did not notice any issues.. 4 days later, I notice I can see the old issue returning. Have not notified Ford yet.
Check your MIC tops CLOSELY on the rearmost panel by the windows. Appears to be pulling apart a bit.
I'll have a lot more photos and any other misc info coming shortly.
There is also slight honeycombing.
Edited for brevity.

Yes, noticed it when we took delivery, we were concerned it was leaking, but it definitely feels oily. I thought it was mfg residue, but I still see it appear at times.Has anyone seen this? It's not water to my knowledge because it looks and feels slick. We also haven't had any rain lately in my area.
I haven't removed the roof just yet to further inspect, only noticed this when rearranging the rear seats.
Just to add to the list, have a new leak front and center.
If this was the only thing, I'd be in agreement. It's just another one to my list. The broken mounting flange is the biggie.Ya, this is fine... It's why you got the Badlands in the first place.
Try some silicone lubricant on the rubber seals maybe. My back window just started creaking and popping loudly but I know the cause. I wiped down the gasket between the top and window with a microfiber and now it's squeaking on the glass.. sooo I need some type of lubricant.
Maybe I'll just put the dirt back on and leave it be.
Be honest. You waxed that gasket, didn't you?My back window just started creaking and popping loudly but I know the cause. I wiped down the gasket between the top and window with a microfiber and now it's squeaking on the glass.. sooo I need some type of lubricant.
