Does anyone know who‘s making a stick-on old-timey Bronco fender badge?

I was thinking of buying two of the stamped and pinned antique 1966 badges to replace the Badlands fender badges. To make this work I would have to grind off the pins, fill the back of the stamped badge with an epoxy or other filler, sand smooth, apply automotive-grade 2-sided tape, and finally precision-cut the tape before I could install them.

Then I noticed the badge on the green gas can…it may be a manufactured stick-on badge if that can is to be functional.

Thanks

Maybe they are planning to do this from the factory on the MY22 Heritage Edition

Yeah, maybe. Someone must be making them now, though, unless they scabbed one up the way I was thinking of doing it.

Somebody here, or the other bronco forum, or on classicbroncos.com was attempting to make those iirc, seems like they ran into issues with copyright with Ford. 66'-77' all had those, or the Sport version if it was a 67''-77' Sport.

Yes someone on the forum is making classic logo badges - https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/bronco-heritage-fender-badge-preview.17611/

Just cut the clips and silicone it on. Shouldn't affect the paint.

I did a similar thing with my '07 Mustang GT and bought old school GT badges and just used automotive adhesive... can't remember what brand as this was YEARS ago.

Worked out perfect and no harm no foul to the paint... but yet again, I never removed them.

3D print, then paint, then order some 3m 300lse adhesive. The script is available for download on thingiverse
