The non sas Badlands has the same suspension as the Sasquatch. It actually has more travel. The SAS has a spacer that limits the travel to compensate for the 35's
Yes, the Badlands has more travel than the SAS, but not because of a spacer.

I'm afraid the the rest of your information is incorrect, different designs, different part number coilovers and different part number springs.

Looks like they share the same springs, or is it just too early for my crusty eyeballs?
To early, there are 17 different spring part numbers.

@flip, a Ford dealer good guy on the forum, is putting together a list by model as people provide him with VIN numbers. You can buy the complete assembly from him.

Need VINs for suspension IDs

Look's dope. Congrats. It looks proper, a little more of a lift would be better. I am interested to see how the stock axles, upper and lower arms hold up. What kind of lift did you get? And what is you gearing?
2 inch spacer and stock 4.70 gears

Spare tire?
I haven't ordered the 3rd brake light relocation bracket so doesn't fit. Tire is sitting in my shop at the moment.

@wanna1 Which Off-Roadeo did you go to? We went to TX and they were all SAS.
I went to Texas and I was in a sas but the one in front of me was non sas and he would scrape the skid plates and i would not so I'm going 35 with a lift on my non sas.

Looks great nice mountaineer too! I really want to come up with a hydraulic assist suspension that would allow me to ride on road stuffed almost like you are now. But then pump it up a couple inches offroad. But still keeping all the suspension travel on traditional setups. I have been trying to figure that out for my Eagles(and Maverick before that) for a long time. I just love the handling and composure of a relatively low COG but realize there is often a need for clearance. For coil overs maybe a hydraulic collapsable spacer lift? With a self adjusting droop limiter?

Looks good though, good tire choice. A good DD capable mud tire. I just cant get behind any of these AT builds for offroading. I dont thing I have ever rescued a rig with swampers, but have pulled a couple with BFGs stuck in wet grass lol
My wife has a Grand Cherokee Overland which has 4 ride lifts in the shocks - lifting all the way completely uses up suspension travel - factory limited to single number mph - but it is handy - can do anything a stock Wrangler can do in a cushy road car.

I have a lift just have not installed it yet. Took delivery just over 3 weeks ago. Picked up some 37x12.50r17 Thompson Baja Boss MTs and Black Rhino Garison Beadlocks with 0 offset. Plan on installing 2 inch lift this weekend. 2.3 Eco with 7 speed manual. Still managing just over 20 mpg mixed driving here in thin air Colorado. I did have cut about 3/4" of the factory slider off for the tires to clear at full lock(pic below). But I already put 250 miles on it with no lift rubs inner fender sometimes at full lock and hit bump. Hopefully lift Saturday and Wheeling on Sunday. 😎

OP, phenomenal job on these pictures & build. I've been a long time lurker on this forum, and made an account just to tell you. And after the 2" lift you threw on -- looks great!! 2D Bronco is the BEST.

Also -- do you plan to get a 5th tire/wheel for your spare? Or are you just going to leave it as is for now?

Can you post some pics of the suspension? The CV angles and what not. Curious to see how it all looks with the 2" spacers.

I have to get the 3rd brake relocation kit and may need a spacer to get the 37 far enough from the bumper. I have the spare sitting in the shop.

Oh okay. We went in September and they said they had traded a bunch out recently. We had all trim levels plus 2 and 4 doors, but all SAS. Only MT was the one in front on display.
I was out the first week open to the public, pretty much all trims represented, most with SAS, there were a few base badlands running 33s. One manual in each group. The 33s did struggle a bit more on the slippery rocks and did tend to hit the bash plates and rear shock mounts a lot. Nothing with the truly base suspension, steelies and road tires of course. Although they are also running sports, just not through some of the tougher obstacles or the tougher lines. I drove a 2dr base sas most of the time. Handled nicely, bit sparse, but not bad at all. Played with a 4 dr wildtrak briefly. Have since driven 8 other new broncos outfitted all over the place on and off road while I wait for mine.... getting pretty damn close to 500 days now.....

Nice, it was a lot of fun. We would totally do it again. There is light at the end of the tunnel. Ours rolled off the assembly line on Saturday and we got the pic this morning.
