OMG friends, out of body spiritual experience seeing my 4x4 son born after a 14month gestation period!
7/14/20 reservation, 1/29/21 order, color change from Oxford white to cactus gray, MIC delete, tow delete, 9/8/21 built, 9/13/21 delivered!
Great news except we were out of town on vacation and the beauty could not be collected!
Just back in town 9/18/21 and picked up our furry dog, got some groceries, got carry out for dinner and do we go home, hell NO, straight to dealer to catch a lookie at the beast!
Disappointed not behind secure fenced area but I guess free advertising for the dealer!
First impressions, I couldn't breathe for a minute since so happy that it's real! Be patient friends, it will happen!!!!
Smiled at the note on dash per my instructions to dealer to leave plastic on seats since the first a$$ to hit the MGV will be mine! (Note - I'm a don't let the vegetables, potato and steak touch each other on the plate)
Super bright sunny afternoon and the CG looks tremendous! Dealer parked end to end with a Bronco sport of the same color. Check out size comparison!
I'm happy with the rig stance on the 33's. When they wear out I can consider 35's+.
That's it for now, have to do the final deal on Monday afternoon and bring (will be named soon) big rig home!
Added bonus is that I have a custom plate that I ordered over a year ago and will xfer to Bronco (Baja 1K) to honor the 1969 Bronco winning the Baja 1000 race.
More updates after it arrives home and I play around a bit!
First order of business is trailer hitch sans wiring for my ebike rack and mounting my Diode Dynamics ditch lights!
Chat soon friends and be patient, dreams do come true!
Bruce.
