I'm going to be nosey, are you taking apart the bumper for some reason or is it just a general question about the bolts? Would love to hear if you are modding it some how.

I used a T40 to pull the end caps off of my modular bumper. Was a touch loose but nothing I was concerned about I guess...

isn't there the bit in the tool kit that comes with the bronco?
oddly enough, no. There are other torx bits in there, but none for the mod bumper. Or at least that's what i've heard others say

No I was going to put a RC bull light bar that they said would fit, but didn't. And I was going to remove the covers from hooks

There is no inbetween size there...maybe the plating or paint is causing the T45 not to fit? How close is it? Will the T40 strip if you tried to use it?
Not close enough, I can use the T40 just didn't want to cam out and damage finish

They are probably Torx plus. Google it.
Thanks I will look into that. There are so many options on fasteners now

If you buy a set, might as well get the tamper proof Torx plus for future projects.

Learn stuff everday. Thought there was only torx.
Tool companies needed more revenue so they invented a new bit style to sell. lol
