How are the eibachs?
I absolutely love mine. Sadly for me, their install video came out literally they day after I installed mine at home with no instructions! But went smoothly, and they feel great. I have mine set at 3" of lift (ranges from 1"-4") and they're still nice and soft, not overly stiff like other coilovers. Highly recommend ✌

Beautiful build! How do you like the Maxlider fender flares? I think they look super clean but I just haven’t been able to justify the $1300 price tag for a set compared to other fender flare kits.

This version of my build is far more extensive and mapped out so I wanted to start a clean thread. The OG thread is more accessories and lifestyle

They’re absolutely obnoxious looking. It’s just an oversized body mount. I’ve had my eye on cutting them off for the past year but wanted to wait until I could do all the work at once.

With the right tools, specifically choice in blade. One per side. It really wasn’t a hard job. It was one of the more satisfying task to hear them hit the ground.

Great build! I'm doing basically the same thing - just got make time to do the installs. I've got Eibach COs, Rock Jock control arms (upper/lower), Icon winch bumper, Warn ZEON 10s, and JKS tire clearance kit in the garage ready to go... How difficult was the rear upper links to install? For some reason I dread dropping the gas tank.
Thank you @Arokcrwlr 🤙
I’m a little biased, but that’s a pretty awesome build list.

They’re still on. I opted to to not get/do the uppers for now. I didn’t feel I’d be stretching it far enough to worry about those still being fixed. Reduce labor and cost. And not introduce alignment/tracking issues.

The most effective installs I’ve seen they cut that bolt, then reinstall it the opposite direction. Or drop the tank.

Good luck with your install! 💪

Well, that would be a long-winded answer.
They’re no longer installed in the recent pictures, so there’s that.
Short answer, No; I don’t feel they were worth the cost.

They’re a set of AirDesigns from the Ford Accessory catalog for $800. Up-charged to $1300 by MLB. Basically all the did was pre-drill & tap the stud holes. Then added 1/4-20 hardware 3M tape & the welting. All things I could have secured on my own. You still have to assemble everything.

Quality, Fit & Finish were good. I can’t take points away for there.
Customer service at MLB was great. Etc.

In the end, for me personally, and with the color of my bronco, I feel they need to be color-matched. At this point Im not going throw money to fix money so I’m gong to sell them and just run the OE with the poke and move on. Is what it is. 🤷‍♂️

Ahh makes sense. You have non sas flares originally I assume? If I remember reading correctly, these were about the same width as SAS flares correct? I like having a little bit of poke just out from the flares so that’s another reason I didn’t want to spend the money on these. I guess they mainly just have that lovely Bronco tax on them.

Yep, it’s just a body mount. It’s large to incorporate the crash bars.
I’m sure to navigate whatever fed regulations for safety or safety rating they needed.

I guess it’s a matter of perspective. I’ve worked w/ tools for 35+ yrs in a heavy equipment industry, so I was comfortable with it. Even so, after doing it, I don’t think it was a hard task. Just take your time and follow the steps.

Reciprocating Saw is the right tool for the job here. Cut wheels to clean it up if needed. Grind off the burrs. Prime. 3 rattle-can coats of paint. Install new brackets.

https://jksmfg.com/products/ford-bronco-max-tire-clearance-kit

they have a well made install video here!

I don’t know for fact, but I’m pretty sure I’ve broke my warranty at this point; needs to be a consideration for those uncomfortable with that.

Sorry if I missed it, but what are you using to support the body at that location?

Put about 100 miles on it today. ✅
Rechecked torques. ✅

It drives better than I honestly expected it to. I’m pushing the OE specs to the limits of of tolerances; anything more and I’d have to look into dropping the diff or a mid/long Tavel kit.

This is the stance with the Eibach’s maxed out. I payed for all the inches, I’m going to use them. 😂. They feel amazing. No weird body roll. No nose diving, No clicks or pops, and the ride quality is better then OE.
