I ordered a non sasquatch badlands bc I don't like the wheels. From my understanding, the badlands gearing will be able to sling 35's no problem without going 4.7 final drive. Obviously, 37's is stretching and even with sas they might rub or mess with articulation. My intent is to get this thing from Ford as modified as I will ever need so gearing up to the 4.88 or the 5.13, the 2.7 tune, and the performance offroad lift that Ford performance will offer is in my sights.
I know speculation without pricing is hard but im a little confused about the 4.7 final drive, is that front and rear final ratio? If I get the F.P. 4.88 220 ring and pinion is that just rear? There is also a full 220 axle upgrade instead of a ring and pinion only, is that even necessary? Keep in mind, looking to go to 37's. My intent with this thing is to take it on trips and go offroading and use another as daily driver.
