I need some help. My bronco shut off abruptly when coming to a stop and it wasn’t the auto stop. Anyone have an abs fault or something like that? Is there a reset? I tried disconnecting the battery to reset but no luck. At the dealer now, they are scratching their heads.

Update 01/17/2022: Called Ford customer service again and got in touch with someone who would help. They are contacting the dealer direct now to see what’s going on. We still don’t have a full diagnosis. For those of you that helped with guidance thank you. I will update the group on the findings when we get them.
Update 1/18/22: This morning still being told “next in line” for engine tear down and diagnosis.
Update 02/03/2022: Bronco is finally in the engine bay for diagnosis. Service department said they found metal shavings in the transmission oil. More to come
Update 02/20/2022: Turns out there wasn’t an issue with the trans as they originally thought. Engine is froze up and they are now finally going to make the order.
I called Ford customer service and I found out they closed my claim the same day I opened it at the end of January . Had to open a new claim. No ETA yet on new motor.
