The wild track is just an optioned OBX. There is nothing unique or special about it. The badlands trim has the sway bar disconnect which is entirely unique and the MGV interior which is only shares with the BD. The badlands also has more wheel travel than the wild track due to 33" tires not requiring travel limiting bump stops. If you option a badlands with all of the same features (2.7/auto, SAS, mid, and hard top) that the wild track has the badlands will be more capable and more expensive.
Yeah the price input seems to be a couple thousand more from what I can tell from all the links and calculators... Guess I still know in about 30 minutes.

Again for emphasis.

The people speaking were the designers, not regular on-camera talent, and were clearly speaking mostly off the cuff from memory or possibly notes (definitely not a script).

I would not over think this one-time statement coming from someone who‘s job is *not* marketing or communication.
Oh, but they will.

Wildtrack has plastic bumpers, carpet, tin foil skid plates etc. It is the light duty version for looks.
IE.... Platinum or Limited Mall Crawler Edition.

LOL

Did anyone else catch this during the video? She called the Badlands the highest trim... Am I missing something? (Of course not taking about the FE) but I have always been under the impression that it was the wild track.

I don’t take this video to hart. I just don’t. I’ll listen to the inputs on what you can and can’t do. But I won’t listen to them on their input based on trim

Yeah damn right I will... Why do you think I posted a thread?
Lol
I thought she clarified that the Badlands will have the most options for interior choices....so I guess for a designer, more choices equals top level.

What? Since when? The Wildtrak is just an optioned up OBX. Doesn't have the armor or sway bar.

Am not sure... I guess it does if I posted about it ?
And also yes it does because of pricing.
Get what you like. Nothing else matters.

I'm thinking Wildtrack - 2.7, auto, squelch all included.. SBD is something I'd never use anyways .. and I don't want a cheap looking rubber floor

Every single trim has a specific combination of features you can't get on any other trim, Wildtrak included. Carpeted interior+Sport and Baja mode+unique graphics are more important than sway bar disconnect and marine vinyl to some but not all. Wildtrak is the most expensive without options but Badlands is likely most expensive when all options boxes are ticked on both.

If which model is considered to be “the highest trim” is of any concern to you maybe you should rethink what trim you truly need. Base model + 2.7 & Sasquatch is mechanically the same as a Wildtrak and 10k less...
