The raptor is a halo trim though its not supposed to be affordable to all. no one says you have to finance 88k at 5.8%. either. the good news is that the raptor is the highest trim bronco, which means that any other bronco is literally cheaper, and you will land on one in your budget. 88k might be a lot to you, and not a lot to others, but it is competitive with Jeep and Toyota. ford dominates this space and they dont want to cannibalize their f150 raptor success either. I dont know what you realistically expected a good deal to be
to me the issue is the braptor first came out at just under 70k. After all the price increases now its low 90's. What Ford initially offered was a great price - then in a very short duration added 20k ish in MSRP and it leaves a very bad taste.

Not to have a measuring contest, but last week I had a deal worked out on a 2023 and they were at 20 grand off MSRP plus I had a $2500 coupon from Ford to use towards it, so essentially I was getting $22,500 off MSRP. I ended up getting a 24 F150 Raptor $4500 off msrp.

thats an inflation issue not a ford issue, ford is is keeping the braptor price inline with its competition today, which is all you can really ask for. if you liked the price at 70 then you should've bought at 70, but today even the wildtrak can msrp for 70k, so the days of the braptor being that low are long gone.

It is not just Ford. The Grand Cherokee is similar. Same model was over 10K increase over three years. The only reason i know this is her 4th GC lease. Jeep even reduced all the GC models Jan/Feb of this year. Not sure I have seen a mid-model year price redux.

I will never be a fan of those flares painted or not. My wife and I got two Broncos for the price of just one Braptor!
They are an acquired taste for sure.

Nice. I hope everyone gets a better deal than I did. I much prefer to see folks getting the most value for their dollar.

FWIW, living somewhat close to NoVA and having made a number of trips to some of those dealerships, I will add that they practice quite a few deceptive and disingenuous techniques (looking not just at you, but - yes - at you, Koons Ford). Resolved to never do business with these Beltway Bandits. I guess living too close to the DC politicians rubs off...?

Anyway, as a result, I've switched to dealing with and buying from folks further south (Fredericksburg, for example).

Anyway, congrats to you on your purchase. Glad you got a deal you liked. Enjoy!
The deal from Koons included a $2,500 destination charge add-back. Not sure anyone has tried to inflate the destination charge on a deal. I walked and did not look back.

The guy I worked with at the Ourisman in Manassas. I probably dealt with 15 different dealers between the Bronco and my wife’s car and he is by far the best. Happy to refer him to you if you want. Shoot over a private message if you are interested,

Not trying to make your feel like crap. The ones still with the 23s are desperate. Ford over priced braptors by 10-15k

All good. I feel fantastic. I agree with the 10-15….so I got the one I wanted for 9k below. I am super happy. I really wanted a unit with wash out floors. I found very few around here without the leather seats. Price goes much lower, I wont have anything to choose from.

This is a great point! For me Cactus Gray, washout floors w/MGV and the Lux Package (for ACC) were all must have's and you don't want to settle at these price points even with slightly better deals out there.

lol that was absolutely not inflation - I hope that was sarcasm
Ford saw good bronco sales and decided to push the envelope on pricing. Hell - even my badlands price jumped 10k from 23 to 24. If you really think that price jump is keeping up with competition, well that's a mentlity that salesman have wet dreams over

2022 raptor f150 msrp started at rougly 73k
2023 raptor f150 msrp started at 79k
2024 raptor f150 msrp was rougly 81k

this is clearly not the same increase as the braptor

FYI if If I liked the braptor price I would have purchased one - but thats not the point I was making

I tried, feverously to no avail. Without that lottery ticket, it was nearly impossible to get a 2022 Braptor at MSRP.

I hope Ford and my dealer can come to an accord and honor the extra Oct $2k rebate, missed it by hours. That would make me ecstatic with my purchase.

OTD today with this New 2023 for $73,320 all in. That’s tax/title and tags included. Small dealership in PA that also had 5 2024s that he’s been sitting on. Found it on line and drove 3 hours this morning to get it.
