Simple: You can make a Badlands a Wildtrak but you can’t make a Wildtrak a Badlands.

No contest IMO.. Badlands Forever!!

Badlands:
1) MGV and wash out interior
2) Swaybar disconnect
3) Steel Bumper and Armor included
Same for the same reasons. Wildtrack seems to the best choice for only a very narrow set of criteria.
- You want squatch and lux, but don't need armor or swaybar disconnect.
- You don't want MGV.
- You want to save some money vs BL.
Wildtrack is best for desert running without rocky conditions plus it has all the mall crawling prowess of the BL and a lower price tag.

Reasons for Badlands - Wildtrack Camo Seats (I just can't do it) and lack of Roof Rack.

Getting a wildtrak. Sand and beach, few dirt roads and decent jeep trails amd camping but I also daily drive and long trips from DC to FL. No plans to use any of the hardcore crawling the BL brings. Don't care for the roof rack, as I want this to be a off-road coup convertible.

I would like the MGV, but want the baja/sport mode.

You do you. WT gets me what I want the most at the price I want to spend.

Wildtrack for me. I wanted something that has the best highway handling and comfort. I never plan on going off-road I just wanted a vehicle that looks like you could.

I'm leaning towards Wildtrack. I think the interior will be quieter and more comfortable with the leather/carpet vs MGV. With rubber floor liners(what I have now in my truck) I just take them out and hose them off anyway. Dont need the washout. I dont need the steel bumpers, they just rust here in MI, and I do mostly high speed off roading, not roack crawling. Also I believe the steel bumpers may severely effect payload. The mod. Front bumper seems like it would created a lot of wind noise, and I'd have to spend a bunch of extra money on top of it because you loose the fogs.

The interior color choices are what made the decision for me. I do not like the Wildlands interior... at all.

I like the black accents and hell ya I dig the camo interior...

BL is cool but I don’t need the body armour, I won’t be rock crawling and the MGV is a cool concept but I’ve never owned a vehicle with it so I don’t know what I will be missing without it...

if u plan on heavy duty off roading BL is the rig if not the WT is a better fit...
