Where ever I read I see more comments about the new Ford Badlands and less about the Wildtrak or First Edition. Why is that? It is as it these two are very rare or just not liked.

Is the Badlands really that much better then the Wildtrak???

I’ve been going back and forth on these two but I think I finally made my decision.

The WildTrak interior is not well liked.
What is wrong with the interior? And do they feel the same with the LUX package?

I will be placing my order for a 2 door WT

It’s got
Everything I want and need. I actually like the cloth interior . It’s different and not the same ole shit we see from
Auto makers

It’s not for everyone but that’s cool.
The BL is a sweet rig- I love it but for me to get the squatch package it’s more expensive than the WT..
Really though BL or WT or hell the base you can’t go wrong - it’s a damn BRONCO

Think of it like this, do you carry a pocket knife in your pocket? Probably.
Do you carry a power drill in your pocket? Doubtful.
Both are great tools, both make holes.
The drill is faster at making holes than the knife, and can penetrate more materials.
The knife has more control and practical uses.
Nothing wrong with either tool, or either Bronco. Just different uses.

Badlands is a better deal and has more sought after features. Sway bar disconnect, marine grade vinyl, wash out interior, skids and steel bumpers...
While this may be true - I think it's highly dependent on each buyer's individual use case. I think if you add an MGV or all black interior option to WT, this becomes a very different convo. But MAYBE this is by design on Ford's part when you think of the delays on the WT top, would more people shift and wait for late availability, thus decreasing the # of units (more badlands) being delivered earlier on?

I think some of it has to do with the manual transmission. I know that is it for me. If I could get the MT in a WT then that would be my preference. Since I can't I'm going with a BL.

I agree and to squatch a BL it’s more money than a ALready standard squatched WT..
So better deal- not so sure...

BL is a great vehicle but I don’t need the swaybar disconnect, I like the wheel sets on the WT better, It really comes down to personal preferences...

The WildTrak should have a different suspension more geared towards desert running like the Gladiator Mojave. Then, it might make more sense to me.

Badlands is the halo trim, like a Wrangler Rubicon.
This right here. The Bronco is aimed right at Jeep and its 250k+ unit sales per year, with the Badlands offered as the "Rubicon-equivalent trim".

It's not a "better or worse" situation really. When we talk about it, people are just fitting the Bronco into the market as it's currently understood.

I’m getting leather for sure and like the two tone look. I also prefer the blue accents color over the orange of BLs.
