Brackets for soft or hardtop? Have seen soft top brackets sit higher to help avoid noise.

Brackets are the same for both soft and hardtops according to Baja. And technically shouldn't they sit lower to help avoid noise?

Read that should sit higher to have a bigger gap between top and bar so wind doesn't squeeze through as much which I guess creates the noise. No idea never had a bar because I have a soft top and can barely take the soft top noise.
