Just purchased and had a set of Baja Design lights installed in my modular bumper. The single fog light appears to have enough illumination and is adjusted correctly. The two clear driving lights are bright enough but are adjusted way to high to be useful for cornering or mid range illumination. the Off Road shop where purchased and installed said they are adjusted as low as possible and there is nothing left to do. I have reached out to Baja Designs, which is close by) and asked for their help. anybody have a similar problem and any suggested solutions would be great?

I’d take a look at the bracket they used to connect the lights to the bumper. There is likely some play in the holes for those bolts. Any decent bracket should have plenty of room to adjust the lights as needed. The bracket bolts should be snug, not tight. Then for adjustment, go find a wall that you can park about 25ft from. Turn on your factory headlights and note the height on the wall where they shine bright. Then turn on your fogs and see where they shine in relation. Move the lights as you need then tighten down the bolts further if needed.

Need a bit more info on the exact kit they installed along with photos of what was installed

We sell 3 kits with Baja Designs Lights and each kit allows you complete adjustability left/right/up/down

Baja Designs Triple Fog Light Kit w/KR Off-Road Brackets for 2021+ Ford Bronco (HD Modular Bumper)
https://www.4x4truckleds.com/baja-d...ckets-for-2021-ford-bronco-hd-modular-bumper/

These sit in our KR Off-Road open style bracket. So you can see how they can be aimed up/down/left/right

Baja Designs Triple Fog Light Kit w/KR Off-Road Bezel/Flush Brackets for 2021+ Ford Bronco (HD Modular Bumper)

Now our KR Off-Road Flush Bezels are designed off the original Baja Designs version (but ours work with different manufacturers and install with less hardware). They still allow you to move the lights up/down/left right as well depending on how you seat the lights.

This is the original Baja Designs kit, which gives you 4 different lighting options. They have a stepped appraoch but still allow you to aim them up/down/left/right depending on how you situate the lights/brackets. But still complete adjustability.

Sounds like either the shop didn't use one of the above kits and used some overseas bracket that might not be designed to work with Baja Designs lights (our KR off-Road ones have lots of adjustability channels built in so the lights can sit ANYWHERE, other brackets don't do that and put the lights in a FIXED position).

But if it was a Baja Designs kit w/Baja Designs brackets or KR Off-Road brackets you SHOULD be able to move the lights.

But we'd need more info/photos to see how they installed it/what product they used.

What did you pay for the kit out of curiosity? How much did they charge for installation (we charge $200 btw here in NY, to give others an idea on what installation SHOULD cost).

How did they wire it up? Our kit puts each pair of lights on it's own upfitter, Baja's kit uses 2, so im curious if they use upfitters or maybe a rocker switch? Your fog kit shoul be on 2 or 3 upfitters if it's one of the kits mentioned.

The bracket I got from 4x4TruckLEDs you could almost point the light straight down if you wanted to. The lights just bolt in with a couple of bolts and you can just tug on them to get them to move - if the bracket isn’t allowing enough adjustment range, time to get a new bracket

It sounds like your installer is feeding you a line

Sooo you can most definitely adjust those up/down/left/right. So that's a concern they told you that you cannot. They simply don't want to take the time to adjust them for you.

Another concern is the price... that kit retails for $1,279.95 but they charged you $1,284.95. Okay so they added a bit to it. $5 isn't anything worth making a fuss over, just WEIRD. Can you show us a better photo straight on up close of the 3 lights. I want to double check that they actually installed the right lights for you as well since we're chatting here.

Looks like they charged you $360 to install it and then $75 to wire it up? Do you have factory upfitter switches? They got $75 to crimp 2 wires on which takes 60 seconds to do? So a total of $435 for labor on top of charging you more then the product sells for?

We charge $200 to install fog kits to keep it in perspective. $300 if you do not have upfitter switches (because we have to mount switches on the dash).

Do you have upfitter switches? If so you should not have paid $435 for labor, unless that's just the going rate out there in San Diego, CA where I know things are expensive. But our shop is here on Long Island where rates are high also. I'm pretty low at $200-$300 but other shops might be around $300-$400. Bu still... that's on the VERY HIGH end for labor, especially since they are claiming you cannot adjust them. For what you paid they should be more then happy to adjust them for you.

Can you show us a photo of the wiring inside. Again that's just a professional curiosity of mine. I've seen some local shops here butcher an install. Just show us a photo of the driver side firewall area where the upfitter wires are (north of the battery, against the firewall is where the wire bundle is)

The lights have a gap around them for a reason, so that you can move them up/down/left/right

It sounds like the shop took advantage of my age and didn't give me a reasonable financial deal and a quality install so thanks for opening my eyes.

I do have the Upfitter Switches and used #1 for the two driving light and #2 for the amber light. The wiring install looked clean and I've included the best picture I had. I've also included a hopefully better picture of the back of the lights. On closer examination it does look like the just didn't want to adjust properly. I was going to adjust myself but I don't want to let them off this easy for not treating me fairly. I thank all of you for your knowledge and suggestions.
