Yes the ground attaches to the body. So the Baja Designs kits only use 2 upfitters. 1 Upfitter for the Squadron and the S2 both share the same upfitter.

I've never been a fan of that. They did that with the Raptor kits as well.

We include our all-in-one harness with the kits we ship, which lets customers connect the 3 pairs of lights to 3 different upfitter. We also utilize a 1-piece style harness, so it's one harness you run, not multiple harnesses plugged into each other. It's unique to the kits we offer though (along with letting you pick the lights you want).

Here is what our harness looks like

Do you have that wiring harness available for purchase separate?

This is old thread but I'm hoping for your seasoned opinions :) Anyone have any regrets spending $1200+ on Baja Designs or would $340 for Oracle have been enough?

We have installed both. @Baja Designs are the best overall. The performance, Brightness, and they look great. I have personally had a set on my Bronco for over a year now. They have survived all seasons of Wisconsin weather. I always have the amber light on, and they have saved my Bronco from Deer running out, and they are great in heavy rain/snow.

Oracle lights look great too, and fit the modular bumper perfect. They are easer to install. the only downfall is that they are not as bright. Overall, For the price they are great option, and they are built well. Both light have been very popular at our shop.

We are working on a Baja Designs, RIGID, Oracle pocket light compassion video that should be up in the next few weeks on our Youtube channel MiddletonMotorsports. stay tuned...

No regrets installing the Baja set. I've been using them since Dec last year, over 26k miles now and no issues; very satisfied.

I think I might have if I had spent $1200+ on my Baja’s, but I found a complete set with brackets from a seller here for $600. Already assembled, all I had to do was bolt them in using my Bronco bolts and run the wires to my aux switch wires. I don’t think I would have paid $1200+, but love them and the quality/warranty.

I bought them on a prebuy and were a lot cheaper and I upgraded the lights. They are ok but I have 3 Baja LP6s just above them and they light the world.

Hey David,
If you are looking for the best of the best that is what we are here for. All of our lights are made with the best components in the market and the best technology that is around . We are always looking to innovate to make the best products that you can find. We also offer lifetime warranty in all our lights. In the event of you wanting to return them you will have a 30 day money back guarantee.

We offer a variety of Vehicle specific kits for the bronco models. From fog pocket kits ,A pillar kits, reverse kits, and roof mount light kits. We offer plug and play kits that are easy to install and user friendly.

Here are a couple of things that make us different from our competition.
uservice/https://www.bajadesigns.com/uservice/
We provide products that are uservice friendly that provide the ability to be able to change lenses while on an adventure or at the comfort of your garage without compromising the performance on your lights.
5000k Daylight/https://www.bajadesigns.com/5000k-daylight/
With safety and the driving experience in mind our lights have a natural color temperature of 5000 kelvin. This helps with driver fatigue when out on long trips and helps increase terrain recognition.
Moistureblock/https://www.bajadesigns.com/moistureblock/
With our moisture block technology we ensure the lights will work no matter the conditions where you are at. From heavy rain to being submerged in water, to dust storms or snow storms the lights are able to withstand the elements that get thrown at them. To make sure they never leave you behind.
Clearview/https://www.bajadesigns.com/clearview/
Having the correct lens pattern is vital for when you are out having fun or racing the Baja 1000. Being able to have the correct lens pattern makes sure you are hitting the correct zone and that you are running the ideal lens for your application.
Copperdrive/https://www.bajadesigns.com/copperdrive/
Copperdrive management system uses copper instead of aluminum to help transfer heat more efficiently for the LEDs to the thermal gap pad. It uses next gen circuit boards and driver technology to safely run high power LEDs at 100% power.

Lots of great feed back, thanks! I think I'm sold. One more question, since Baja offers so many options. How's this combo for mostly on-road and occasional off-road (mostly on sandy beaches and the occasional trail looking for a campsite at night)? I don't care about fog since it's rare where I live.

Ended up getting the Baja's, just need to find a big enough parking lot to adjust them.

I’m about to order a full set of Baja Designs Fog Lights for my Mod bumper on my newly arrived Badlands.

About to order the fogs from @4x4TruckLEDs.com since they have a good presence on here and the guy who posts is always so helpful.

Picked up a set of Squadron Pros for the A pillar from 4WParts today. Going to install myself since they wanted a whopping $450 for installing lights that were $250. Never installed lights before, but when they arrive along with the bracket, going to burn a Saturday on the project.

Only thing I’m nervous about Is the connection to the battery and grounding properly, then wrapping and tucking the wires, well, and of course hooking up to which switch. Have watched a video, but they moved quickly.

Can anyone recommend a video? I’m actually looking forward to trying this out myself.

In addition to the fog and pod lights, may try to fight to install my ARB twin compressor and my Midland GMRS for sure. Sorry to add that to the topic of the Baja lights in the thread, but please share any suggestions on how to keep this all neat and safe for off-road use.

$450!!!! We charge $100 to install A-Pillar lights! And you bought the lights from them????

Did you get a harness? If you just bought Squadron Sports (Which go for $249.95) you didn't get an upfitter harness. Our kits include the upfitter harness: https://www.4x4truckleds.com/kr-off-road-ditch-light-pillar-light-kit-w-baja-designs/

So you'll want this harness for your kit: https://www.4x4truckleds.com/crystalux-a-pillar-wiring-harness-2x-wp-2-pin-connectors-baja-designs/

It's easy with our harness. Plug both lights into the wire, crimp our wire onto your upfitter and use the ground bolt right above your upfitters. DONE. $450 for that? Mannn I need to charge more then, lol.

We have two videos some youtubers we partnered with did on the a-pillars

and

For the Compressor, here is a video (although he added extra parts):

If you use a REALLY short stubby self-ratcheting wrench it's very easy to bolt the two mounting bolts to the support bar wtih our KR Off-Road Compressor Bracket

Ha ha! My bad. As soon as they told me the price, I almost walked, but I‘d driven so far to get there through Atlanta traffic, I‘d lost my logic.

Just added the harness to my cart along with the fogs.

Thanks for sharing those videos and responding so quickly. I’ve already been talking you guys up around the forum because you’ve been so helpful with your posts and discount codes at the end of last year. No way I was getting the fogs from anyone else.

Will place the order tomorrow morning.

You’re the best!
