I don't know much about suspension stuff myself. I grabbed the first coilovers I could get my hands on several months back when there was a shortage. I have Radflos with a reservoir and adjustment knob on mine but I would think ICONs, Kings, Foxes work good too. But when you get some, go to a four wheel drive shop that has some experience in that, knows your current setup and how you want it setup.Cool, what kind do you have? I don't really know much about suspension stuff.
So getting a true external GPS is worth it?
Thanks man.
While generally not a fan of wraps................ Wow.
Same here!!!Looks like an amazing trip. Congratulations on completing such a journey. Hopefully I will be able to join the next one
No not mine. It was pretty cool tho. Hammerbuilt makes it... https://hpbuilt.shop/Is this your setup? Just curious if you have any other pictures or info on this bracket used?
Thanks!
I am interested too…I am adding chase lights just not finding a good solution like this.Is this your setup? Just curious if you have any other pictures or info on this bracket used?
Thanks!
I can't remember how I found them, maybe a sponsored post on Facebook. They mainly take Ford Raptor owners down there for hardcore desert running, this was their first time with Broncos. They are a legit company and worth every penny-they take care of you. If you wanted to go alone on the dirt roads, I would strongly not recommend it the first time, you will get lost. If you're just driving the highways, you should be fine. But unless you speak Spanish you'll have a hard time finding routes to the beach. I think you're a hundred times safer in Baja Mexico than in the central portion of Mexico. Cartel is very weak in the Baja area (is what I was told from a person that visits the area frequently) But as a big group, we always felt safe. But to keep your bronco safe I would stay at the resorts and not the hotels in towns. They have security. I think we only drove about 250-300 miles into Mexico to somewhere around Punta Baja (I think).Wow sick!
How did you find this group? I've been planning a trip like this just me and the lady for a couple weeks and driving from Colorado all the way to Cabo.
I know you were with a big group but did you feel safe the entire time? I am not worried personally but the lady is worried about driving a new, nice vehicle down into Mexico and attracting unwanted attention. Any issues with that on your trip?
How far down Baja did you guys go?
Nope, never had a run in with anyone Shady. All the locals were very nice and many took video of our rigs cause they thought it was cool. But I would never take my bronco in mainland Mexico....no way!So Siiick! How did you find out about this? I would love to do a trip like this down to MX and yes like "OhhhhhhSnap", did you have any safety or close calls with shady locals?
Thanks. Their website is crap to navigate... Searching, filtering, etc. I can't find it. I'll just email them - Appreciate you pointing me in the right direction! No not mine. It was pretty cool tho. Hammerbuilt makes it... https://hpbuilt.shop/
So they were quick to respond. This isn't their bracket, but one by Baja Designs, so I'll check out their site.No not mine. It was pretty cool tho. Hammerbuilt makes it... https://hpbuilt.shop/
Thanks for the correction. I was sure the driver said hammerbuilt on both the gascan/water mount and the chase light bracket. My bad!So they were quick to respond. This isn't their bracket, but one by Baja Designs, so I'll check out their site.
They do have a cool one from Hammerbilt though, which mounts onto their cargo door re-enforcement bracket:
