well... topology would have something to do with stretching vinyl over that cover....

But I assure you topological does pertain to topography.... Sorry that is the civil side of me coming out.

Topology is a branch of mathematics that studies shapes that deform under certain rules: Link. Topological means having to do with topology. Topological forms don't actually have any definite shape.

Topography is something entirely different. Yeah, I was a nerd as a kid.

I would argue that topography is simply a smaller subset of topology.... I used to teach classes in Geographic information systems. I taught people to make topological maps. One of those topologies was topography, a topology that relates specifically to the earth. My comment about the vinyl having to do with topologies is that it has to be stretched to cover the shape of the cover. Only meant as humor.

It appears you know what you are talking about. I think we may have been just speaking past each other.

Great idea and cool design! Any chance you'll make these for the Novsight Halo style lights. I haven't seen them on too many rigs (which might be a deterrent for you), but seriously thinking about buying them for mine. Halo Series (novsights.com) The cover is the same as the Amber cover, except black.
