For some people hanging that big 35 or 37" tire on the tail gate is the only option. The Bronco rear door can't handle too much more than the Sasquatch 35" without shaking and squeaking or even pulling off the door on rough roads.
We wanted to make something a little stronger than the flat supports that are out there now.
The BAMF tail gate reinforcement is constructed with .188" HRPO formed to better fit the contour of the rear gate. The formed flanges add structural support not only allowing the tire mount to transfer load to the hinges. It also limits the amount of twist that happens to the door with a heavy tire hanging on it. They have mounting points to add a universal mounting plate for Jerry can/ Hi-lift or other things next to the tire on the hinge side. Hiding Under the factory tire mount there is a mount plate with 15, 1/2" holes allowing you to run other mounts/ tire delete.

CAD render
with bumper extensions
Universal mounting plate (Note) you don't want the door going past 90 degrees after this in installed
Rotopax mount plate
Rotopax storage mounts on optional plate shown below.
Installation
To install Start by unplugging the camera and third brake light from inside the door. Remove the gas strut to the door and close it. Remove the tire carrier from the bronco. Then the 4 hinge bolts, use leather glove or towel between the door and bumper to shim the door while loosening the hinge bolts. Place the support on the gate, line up the holes and reinstall the supplied hardware on the hinge side loosely. If going to larger tires the flat rectangle plate will raise the third brake light remove the screws and install the plate with supplied hardware to raise it up. The lest step is to sandwich the plate with the tire carrier and reinstall all the hardware. Check the body gaps and tighten the hinge hardware. then reinstall the plug for the camera and gas strut.
