Anyone notice that the difference in pricing is about $2,500 from the 2-door to the 4-door for most models however for the Base model, the difference is nearly twice as much...a whopping $4,700?

$4,195 is the difference for the First Edition as well. I said in another post, unless you really require four doors, consider the options you could add for that money to a two door....

Base 4 door comes standard with auto.
Well that's an interesting tidbit I seemed to have missed... Makes my decision even harder between Base & Big Bend now... is Race Red and auto start worth the extra money? Or do I just go Base 4 Door + Squatch + V6... and maybe hard top too.. hmmmm  My brain is starting to hurt

I kind of did the Math here. I took 4 lower Models as an example. I think its the Strategy by Ford to keep the price difference between the 4 Door Models is not more than $2600 so that if anyone who is looking for an upper trim will only look at the price difference is "Just 2600 Only" and would be tempted to upgrade (without options) but if the price of the Base is lower for the 4 Door then the difference between the other 4 door Models such as Base and Big Bend would be at least 3500 difference and people would go for the Base instead of Big Bend.

Not sure I was able make sense of the difference ?

4-Door
33200 - Base
35880 - BB - 2680 Diff
38545 - BD - 2665 Diff
41450 - OBX - 2905 Diff

I must have missed that somewhere...can you point me to where it says the base 4-door has a standard auto? That really doesn't make any sense at all. So what happens if you want a Base 4-door with the 7-speed manual???

So interesting that Ford decided to go this route with just the Base 4-door.

Ford - You need a Bronco... but you don't need a manual.

I might've expected that with a different trim, but not the Base since others have 4-door + MT

Exactly! It would be interesting why Ford went this route with the Base 4-door!

So, does that mean we can extrapolate the AT to add $2205?

I’m guessing they’re trying to keep the base two door as cheap as possible. If you move up to the four-door it’s a way of enticing you to step up a model level.
