It will be interesting to see what the Aftermarket will dream up to bolt on to here in lieu of the Oh Shit Handle, that us Basers don't bother with
This is where the bottle opener needs to be.?

Wow, a true base base spotted in the wild!

I love how honest the base trim level is. No fancy wheels or even wheel covers. Just a tiny center cap.

I really want a manbasesquatch but I would be OK with a base base with a manual in either VB/AB or RR. I would put taller tires on it to emulate the tall and narrow look of the early Broncos. Maybe paint the stock steelies white.

Great find @7spd4me !

Great looking truck. Just need to figure out a pair of aftermarket lockers. Not too big an issue on the rear M220, the big problem is the front... I'd totally consider buying a locked M210 to swap.

It almost looks like it has the VIN # on it

Thanks, but I don't know what this is:

TIA...
No problem, just referring to the port used to do On-Board Diagnostics (OBD) where error codes are read and you can communicate with the computer of the vehicle. Same spot people plug in tuners you can plug in a kit to unlock Ford remote start.

I have never had remote start either but really would like to have it. But I’m also not able to go up a trim level to get it.
...I brought my wife's Taurus to a shop that puts in stereos and alarms..and had them put in a remote start on her car...never had a problem...

I'll buy some beers for anybody who sees a base model around and can take a picture of the front caliper clearance to the 16" wheels. A measurement would be even better. Still holding out a fool's hope that 15" wheels will work.

I'm certainly hoping and assuming the Ford Pass will allow remote start because that's the only feature in any package (other than Sasquatch!) I actually care about.

Ford is the only non-luxury automaker to offer complimentary remote features* to all customers with FordPass Connect (embedded modem). All 2021 model-year and newer Ford vehicles are equipped with FordPass Connect.

I think the Peasant model is a good start for most of us.
Unlike the base 2dr Wrangler, the 2dr Bronco Base has air conditioning, power windows, doors, and mirrors, a hard top, a modern radio and LED headlights, all standard. I’d consider it an upscale Peasant model.

Add the 2” lift, replace wheels and tires with 33’s, and a few other minor touches (steel bumper and aux switches) and I think I get most of what I like about BL at about $15k less. Hoping LED headlights will be available as aftermarket accessory.

I will ask you do to do what I asked several others.
Pay attention to the next 10 F-150s that you see.
I bet the majority of them will have smaller wheels than you think they should.
I have noticed that and they also look somewhat out of proportion.
