Base Bronco missing options?

So I was going over my base model to see different options to add and noticed that it doesn't have nearly as many as Big Ben.
He is a list of some unavailable options for base.
2 piece hard top either painted with body color or not
Tow package
Leather or vynl seats
Back up camera
12' screen.
That's just a few I've noticed.
So my question is , is the base missing components that you just can't add this stuff to or is it a gimmick to get you in a different model?

I understand but a tow package? Or the 2 piece hard top? These are just common add on items that I would think should be available.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure I heard them say the back up camera is standard on all models. I think there is some sort of federal law on that now.

The rest seems to make sense as it IS the base model. No tow package is just plan stupid that they don't though!

What are you expecting from a Base with all of those options versus another model that Includes them? It’s probably going to be cheaper to upgrade to a different trim than it would be to get everything a la carte.

If you want those items do not get the base model, it's a loss leader.

Tow package is just a tow hitch and a wiring harness. It's an easy DIY. Usually just four bolts and plug the harness into the rear light harness. There are lots of aftermarket options for the 2020 Ranger already.

I'm just on a budget and don't really need or want all the electricle upgrades or "creature comforts". I mean this base model will be out of this world compared to my 97 expedition. I would like to see a key too. No push start for me.

Yea, that's a federal law. I wanna say since 2016 all new vehicles were required to have backup cameras standard.

And I agree, it's a base model for a reason, but the tow package does seem like something that should be offered regardless of trim.

I think my only complaint is that the factory tow package isn't even an option on the base. I know it's easy to get installed after market, but it's nice if it comes direct from the dealer ready to roll. I plan to use mine to tow a small teardrop trailer for overlanding and camping.

I doubt it. The non-base models just generate a progressively larger chunk of profit.

Yes, looks like that. When Base 4 Door gets AT as Std. But Big Bend and Black Diamond gets MT as std. One has to go to OBX to get AT Std. This is just one of the cribs.

If everything is offered in the Base or Big Bend which are under $40k many of us would not go for the higher models.
