Just some quick pics of the new set up, installed during a snowfall , lol.
NO LIFT ... crash bars have been removed
Method 703 "Bead Grips" in Gloss Titanium
17 x 8.5 +35mm
Toyo Open Country A/T 3
35 x 11.5 - 17 ... load range C
Wheel 28.7 lbs
Tire ... 63 lbs
let say .. 92lbs total
No rub at static height or full droop, not even close.... haven't flexed it upwards yet (stuffed).
Just the 2.25" of added height really change the look of this thing. She's one burly bitch now! LOL
I thought I wanted the 33.9" 285/75 , but these became available first, load range C ... so I jumped. I'm glad I did!
Drive-ability ... These 35's have pushed the manual from being very over geared to just slightly under geared, very slightly. I actually prefer the way it drives now. 1st is much more useable and the 1-2 shift is A LOT smoother. It's like 1st was too low and second was too close of a gear but not quite enough to launch from , so it made the 1-2 shift pretty jerky. I'm not the only one who has mentioned the same feeling about the manuals 1-2 shift.
If I had to guess, I'd say a 33" 285/70-17 would have nailed it.
Now to the pics , if you haven't already scrolled past all this drivel.

fyi ... spare sits nice and snug on the support bumpers. JUST kisses the thrid brake light.
Before:
Look at the back of the tire, you can just see the sway bar. Full droop, left steering lock
crash bar (stub) at droop, right lock:
Yes I have the proper spare, just not on it yet.... LOL
