High enough that lots of people will say it's too much.

Indications are that it will be higher than a base Wrangler Sport.

base model 2 door I would guess to be around $33K. I've read pricing should be 'competitive with wrangler'

I keep watching prices of the ranger and the wrangler and seeing what they're doing, but there probably isn't going to be much, if any correlation

Here’s my guess, purely based on the competition. Plus or minus.
2Door manual 2.3 XL $30k
2door manual 2.3 XLT $33k
2door manual 2.3 Limited $36k
2door manual 2.3 platinum $39k
2door manual 2.7 Raptor $46k
(Add $2,000 for auto)
(Add $5,000 for 4door)

4 door base price - add $5k to the current Ranger base price and increase by 2%. Subtract $2500 for the 2 door and $900 for the manual.

Trim levels above that - follow the Ranger plus or minus 1-3% depending on the package in question.

That seems unlikely. A base 2 door wrangler starts at $28,295 and a 4 door starts at $31,795 I cant imagine the bronco going lower than that.

Jeeps are overpriced for what you get. I’m just hoping Ford sticks it to them on price. It would be a huge competitive advantage.

It won't be cheaper than the cheapest Wrangler. But then it also won't have manual crank windows and no power locks. Everything we've heard says it'll be competitive with Wrangler on price, so expect Sport S feature levels at a slightly less than Sport S price.

This is my general assumption for pricing structure, possibly undercutting these by a couple grand to beat the jeep prices. I could see them getting the MSRP of the Base down to $29,995 just to say it's under 30k:
Bronco ModelEquivalentPrice (2dr/4dr)
BaseWrangler Sport S32k/35k
LTEWrangler Sahara35k/38k
Badlands/BigBanks/OffroadyWrangler Rubicon38k/42k
Tremor/ExtraOffroadyWrangler Rubicon Recon42k/46k

I'd say a base explorer with 4WD has a MSRP of $36,665. The Bronco is going to be more than the Explorer IMO with the additional of the standard off road equipment. Size doesn't equal discount with Ford. Much like the Ranger XLT crew 4WD w/tech package has MSRP of $38,640 and an F150 with similar equipment is $42,360. I think the cheapest MSRP we see is $37k but after packaging with basic options on a mid level trim the MSRP is easily going to push low the S40s.

I pretty much drive trucks and I don't think there are many XLT F150s (super crew) under $40k. Maybe my options cost more, though. I have trailer and towing packages and 4x4, etc.
