As of today, I am in the 2 door BaseManSquatch camp. The base grille is awful, it is known. I suspect that a Black Diamond grille or other factory accessory grille would bolt right on, but that kind of goes against the budget theme. I am thinking Ebay will produce some decals, or maybe I will use some Plasti Dip for the letters. Any other ideas?

The black gloss painted grill is best. I dunno... paint it

I am hoping for a lot of aftermarket options.
I do like the big bend grille but I don't know if is worth it to upgrade.
Maybe a grille will built-in off-road lights?
The silver one on one of the prototype bronco's looked good too.

It is the letters I was thinking of specifically. I don't have higher trim level envy, but to me, the letters spelled out in white just looks a lot better. Kind of like the lack of tint on the Base model. I am going to have to get that taken care of right away. I am planning on Velocity Blue however, so maybe the all black grille does look better with some other colors.

I'm ok with the Base grill and letters. If I decide on Base I'll go with AMB and try to black out everything else (top, grill, door handles, flares, wheels...).

If I settle for a Big Bend I may just swap for a Base grill. Not being able to view either in person this thought may be premature.

Depending on how the lettering on the Base grill are made on could possibly just apply a color matched tape decal on top of them or reflective or white, so......

It looks like the Black Diamond except black letters.

If I went that route, I would get the Big Bend grille and paint it black.

Didn't I see somewhere that Ford said there were going to be 11 different grill options? Or is my brain just making things up?

Badlands grill swap, which may require the signature headlights as well depending on if there is a difference in the cutouts for the lights on the BL grill vs base grill.

I thought I saw something similar. We shall see. I was hoping for something to do it myself. I am planning Sasquatch and Modular Bumper as the only options on a two-door Base. Then tint, deal with the grille, and have the top coated black. Hope to be under $37k all in with taxes, fees, mods; basically everything. Going through Stephen's and it seems possible given estimates we have received so far.

The base grille is the closest to the first gen broncos aside from the blacked out color treatment. I really like the white over CG prototype grille in silver. However, although I am looking at BL and OBX, I might look into getting the base grille, painting it silver and possibly replacing the bronco letters with ford, painted red, like the original. I guess everything is relative but to me the base grille is one of its best details.
