Is it too late to join the party in this thread? Reserved a 4 door Black Diamond on reveal night but after this week's revelation I'm thinking 2 door #basemansquatch

The value is just too good to pass up.

As B&P is getting closer, I haven't wavered much in what I want. Anyone else.

2 Door Base
Carb Gray, Silver, maybe Antimatter Blue (in that order)
2.7L Auto
Sasquatch Package (small lift, 37s in KO3 at some point)
AUX switches maybe
Maybe some other small OEM adds
Tint the hardtop windows
Bestop twill softop/bikini top when available

Under 40k, the more under the better.

Same here - especially the "under 40K, the more under the better."

2 Door Base
Antimatter Blue
2.7L Auto
Sasquatch Package

None of the other stuff you mentioned, because I think just this much is going to bring the cost pretty close to 40. Plus, I want to put some money aside for a platform over the back seats for an air mattress, cooler, pack, and laptop on top and storage for a tent and cooking supplies underneath. And maybe a second set of tires, depending on whether the 35s are really mud tires or something else.

For what it's worth, one dealership I spoke with said the "guesstimates" we're seeing online (like on this forum) are within a few hundred bucks of the actual prices. I don't know whether that's true for sure, but I'm guessing we're going to be paying a lot more for some things than people with higher trims.

Same pretty much. Right now I'm at Base 2dr 2.7 with Sasquatch for gearing and diffs, AUX switches. Everything else can be done aftermarket over the next 3-5 years.

I would get a mid package if they offered it on the base, but want us to pay the $5k jump for the privilege to buy the $1.5k mid package, and I don't negotiate with terrorists.

Pretty close

Base 2dr
Shadow Black
2.3 Manual
Sasquatch
Aux Switches

With the Stephens deal I've estimated this to come out just under 35k

The only thing that bugs me is that I want no NEED heated seats for winter (I'm a Brit transplant living in New England and it gets far too cold for me!!!) Which is making me sway towards a Black Diamond with Mid package I'd rather jump over Big Bend and get the vinyl interior too...but I'm adding about 10k for that!!!

I'm toying with the idea of aftermarket heated seats elements under custom vinyl covers wired into the aux switches, and weather tech mats....should be alot less than 10k and gets me close to a wash out interior

I envy the people with low/no taxes and cheap tags. It'll add another $3k-$4k with tax/title/fees here. Base price, few options, add on the costs mentioned and bam you're into $40ks real fast from that $28k starting price.
Same here in the socialist state of Ct. GRRRRR then every year property tax on the damn thing will be approx. $900 Did I say GRRRRRR

Am I the only one getting a 2-door base and no Squatch? lol. The only thing I really wanted was the washout interior because of beach days, and if I'm being petty: the "signature headlamps" but honestly after the base pic from the line, I think I actually prefer the base configuration. I see a lot of hate on the base grille from other members on this forum, but I think it actually looks pretty good! After years of car enthusiasts wishing to black out emblems and stuff, the blacked-out 'Bronco' lettering in the grill is nice. I may plasti-dip the emblem on the tailgate tho so it matches a little more.

You're the man!

I'm with ya, the manual would be simply loveable but, I'm old so how long will my knee cooperate?

I want a locker, but supposedly won't be al a carte on the Base and for all it has the Squatch is just too good of value, should help with resale and will keep me from regretting getting rid of my Rubicon.

But, some days I'm totally with you!

Not to nitpick, well yes I guess it is... The $1495 destination charge is pretty ridiculous considering a Mazda CX-30 shipping from japan to the states is only $1045. A Bronco shipping from Michigan at $1495?? That is price gouging. Unless I'm missing something.

btw, I ordered a 2 dr. base 2.3L 7 speed. I think I'm going with the sasquatch package, bumper, aux. and possibly the roof rack. I'm not sure on the color yet. Really wanted the cactus gray.

Going to put a larger engine in it down the road? might as well get the 2.7. Better to have the larger engine and not need it then to not have it and want it.

I am planning to get the 2 door also, no Sasquatch. Would like bigger tires, but truck will likely never see off-road use, so I don’t t need all the extra equipment. I am driving a 2005 Nissan now, so trade in is not a consideration since I keep cars till they are basically worth next to nothing anyway! Getting the 2.7 and Auto so my wife will also be able to drive it. Last stick shift was before I got married, ha ha!

I really wish it came standard with a rear locker. That would be about the extent of what I could ever *need* but I can always add that aftermarket down the road. I'm hopeful I don't regret the manual here in the DC traffic, but my commute isn't ever that bad (I'm lucky that way), and I've got the Challenger for long road trips (auto). Really hoping the non-leather "base" steering wheel is at least of good quality, that's actually making me nervous as heck, but I'm probably the only one that cares haha.
