Let's play a game... !

You got the base unsquatch in all it's postal servicing glory; you're happy you got your bronco but you want to throw a few grand at it to really help it shine on the trails, on the commute, and in the driveway. Most of our offroading rigs (in our younger days) weren't loaded out 2021 JKs; they were run-of-the-mills with 140k miles that we made fun for us.

What you changing right now? What's available (or destined to be available soon) that you'd be adding to help your lil' Bronco shine?

I have search for a lunch locker for the new ranger but have never found one.

Do you know of any for the ranger?

I’m not sure the weld in differentials are upgradeable.

They may not be now, but I'm sure they will be at some point.

17" Black Steelies and 285/75R17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers.

I'm also curious about lockers. I'd consider Base model With aux switches if I could get the rear locker at least.

You figure after market will come out with decent upgrades?

Rear ARB Locker is out now.

Gears are welded to the carrier on open differentials (same as the Ranger), so budget at least $2500 for a rear locker, plus a regear of the open front to 4.70 ratio.
That, plus some 285/75R16 (33") tires will get you a poverty Black Diamond.

Lockers for sure. I’d add the AUX switches and hardtop. Shop around for a lift, maybe 2.5 to 3in. 17in RTRs and 33’s. Pod lights, already found some for waaaay cheaper than the b&p ones. Roof rack for spreader lights, and if I can get it from Ford, then find a machinist to make that fishing pole rack.
