I have not ordered yet. Waiting to see it on May 15th at our local dealer...

I did 2 builds - both 2 doors...

OBX and Bid Bend.

OBX with just the standard mid package with
Hard top sound deadening
Floor liners
2.7l
Tow package
MSRP = $43,595

Bid Bend
Mid package
Hard top sound deadening
Floor liners
2.7l
Tow package
MSRP = $41,510

I know I give up the body colored mirror caps and door handles as well as the LED headlights and tail lights. 17" v 18" wheels.

But they are essentially the same vehicle otherwise.

Does anyone know what I'm really getting for the extra $2,000 if I go with the OBX?

You have your MSRP's flipped. And depending on your wants/needs, you have access to higher packages where the BB only allows for Mid. If you don't value the Sig lights ($795 on BB) and the steps ($? on the BB), then stick with the BB. While the OBX styling might not appeal to some, the body color trim costs a premium that the BB does not get. Also, there is the interior seating options to consider.

I was having the same debate with similar builds (except mine is a 4Dr). I struggled over the price difference but actually viewed in the other direction. I saw the low difference between the BB and OBX as favorable to the OBX as the things that came with that were worth the extra $$. So was the amount saved with the BB (it really is not a big difference when you think of the monthly payment over 4 or 5 years) enough to forego what I got with the OBX. For me the answer was no - but it is personal and depends on how much you value those differences. Putting hard numbers on it is impossible - it’s up to the eye of the buyer. Good luck with the decision.
