I’m curious. How often have you had to change your taillights that the cost would be an issue?
I don’t change tail light bulbs that often, but It’s the fact there isnt an option to change a burnt bulb that makes me happy to not have LED tail light assemblies. If an LED assembly breaks or burns out for whatever reason you’ll be out hundreds per assembly.

The other issue is if you incur some housing damage on the trail (or elsewhere, really).
The cost to replace an incandescent housing - though still expensive - will be substantially less than doing the same for a LED unit.

As for that lifespan estimate...how many Dodges have we seen at less than 10 years old looking like this?
