What about a roll on solution like a flexible epoxy? Mask the Vinyl and just cover all the darn carpet with flex seal lol. People use it to make artsy doormats all the time. Might waterproof/doghair proof them.

Also might turn into a big freaking mess... Idk.

The carpet is there so when you take the 4 doors off place them in the bags and strap them against the back seat it does not damage the doors.
