And gearing
You can add the rear locking differential and the 4.27 gearing to any model without the Sasquatch and it’s 4.7. I’m not super knowledgeable when it comes to that but the charts show the MPH being pretty close at 1000RPM. It wouldn’t be the same but I don’t think it would be too far off.

Seems unnecessary even for 40s. 4" is probably plenty even for a non-sas. Sasquatch is 1.4" lift, and the difference in tire radius is 2.5", putting you at 3.9" lift on base suspension to have the same clearance as a sasquatch with 35s....assuming "40s" means 39.4 like "35s" means 34.4

Perfect timing saw my first bronco with sasquatch today and first thought was to small. They had me at 6 inches 100% going to be going for 39’s. Fully expect to get new Tom Woods drive shafts, new half shafts, new steering bits, possibly a regear to 5.10 to 5.38s. Hopefully by the time mine is built they have some tuners ready to wake the 2.7l up.

Dana 44s aren’t gonna hold up to 40s if you wheel it even moderately hard. And half the benefit of the 40s will be negated with the diff drop that’s necessary for proper front end geometry. Not to mention the steering setup, tie rods, CVs, etc.

If it’s a street princess 40s will be fine. There’s a reason most Jeep people install and recommend Dana 60s when running 40s. You can do it on a built up stock axle but it’s a ticking time bomb.

Think they'll make a retractable one of these?:

Ford Bronco BDS Suspension will offer up to 6.5" lift kit for 40s on Bronco 5-Step_Wet_Step_Ladder

I'm just ready for Fox to show what they've got (planned anyway). I've gotten two generic emails from them that just direct me to their coming soon webpage.

My plan, for now anyway, is to put on adjustable 2.5 coilovers when they become available. I don't need the reservoir shocks as most of my stuff is at low speed, but will take what they've got, within reason.

Come on Fox, show us what you've got.

The radius of the wheel well is not going to accommodate a 40" tire.
Already have to remove the crash bars for 35s. I think 40 will require a sawzall more than anything else

That m210 from the SaS will hold up better than a 190 no matter what half shafts , lift or anything else you try on a non SaS
