Hey guys I am gonna be getting a two door big bend and for a while I used to have a 97 wrangler sahara 2 door, RIP Lola, anyway one of the saving graces of her and just about every other jeep I encountered was that they had bedlined interiors or something similar. Lola was especially convenient because I put waterproof covers on her seats and could just wash it out. I know there is a washout interior option but I am curious for those getting trims that don't have it what are you going to do? Keep the carpet or run something similar to what a lot of us did on our jeeps. Frankly I am not keen on ripping the carpet out of the Bronco but the idea of a carpeted interior does concern me a lot.

I need some insulation, we do see -35°C here once and a while for a week at a time.

All of em come with passive drains and I'm guessing the carpet dries out fine. Or why not ?

I feel for u man I’m a Florida man myself so my biggest worry is random rainstorms that hit like hell with no warning then disappear like Batman on the roof

Yeah I’m really hoping it’s like the marine carpeting you see on ski boats and stuff like that but frankly I’m not optimistic and she’s a beauty tho the pink interior is definitely not what I would have gone with lol

Do it!

Lots of color and texture options these days.

I am either getting badland or more likely Black diamond, but from what I read on the old internet that why it does protect against the rain its a lot louder in the interior, best bet would be just swap out the carpet for the rubber

Florida doesn't have random rainstorms. It's either it doesn't rain ( Nov- March ) or it will rain (Apr- Oct ). It took me a bit to figure it out. Now I know exactly what to expect from living here.

Had another idea as well, you guys know that waterproofing spray that ppl use for clothes and shoes, it’s relatively simple to home make and I have used it to help make my tubes slicker and sling more. I’m thinking of putting a heavy portion of that on the seats and potentially floors as well, anyone have thoughts?
