OMG is that true for 2021 models too? Ford's crown jewel 4x4 that's supposed to compete with Jeep has a plastic oil pan? didn't Ford engineers learn from their idiocy yet?

You know what they say about opinions, and yes I have 1 too, so...

1) don't know about Ford but some factories have additional additives in the oil to help with break in or new engine tightness. For example, Mazda has higher than normal moly... Dumping out factory oil at some real early mileage like 500 is not recommend unless the Manufacturer says it needs to be done.

2) oils of today are miles beyond those of yesterday. Changing oil at 3k is nothing short of tossing away money and is not going to provide any extra insurance.

3) the folks that buy the most expensive oils (RP, AO) and still change at 3k are just to radical to even converse with.

Two words for you ... Black Labs. For $30 all these never ending oil threads could disappear.

Pick your poison... Have it tested, and determine you change intervals accordingly for the rest of you life.

ok so since we are on the oil subject, if you were going to add a catch can to a twin turbo, would you add one or two?

does the Bronco have two PCV lines or one?
