Behold the WILD BANKS / OUTER TRAK

When picking out and ordering my Bronco, I naturally wanted the Wildtrak. I ended up configuring my own version with an Outer Banks, 2.7 with the Sasquatch package.

I’m definitely not a fan of the digital camouflage cloth seats in the Wildtrak. My favorite Bronco interior is the roast cloth, an Outer Banks exclusive. The bronze and silver dash make the interior feel much more premium in my opinion. The roast/black color seats will age gracefully. I also love they are ribbed. It’s a nod to past Broncos and naturally a little more breathable for longer trips and warmer days.

I love the body colored door handles. Body colored mirror caps are another Outer Banks exclusive.

I modified the exterior to what I love about the Wildtrak today for $140!

I replaced the tailgate emblem with the OEM Ford part, gloss black for about $40. Super simple to remove and replace.

I removed the beauty rings and had them powder coated gloss black by my local industrial coating shop. $100 as they just add them in when doing a run of black coating. They turned out better than I expected. They look exactly like the factory finish and match the gloss black part of the wheel perfectly. I was debating on whether or not to purchase the Ford performance black rings. I’m glad I didn’t as this solution saved me roughly $600.

Could you tell me where you got the black bronco emblem for the tailgate. I ordered one from Levittown Ford and it's been on back order for the past 3 months.

I was planning on buying replacement beauty rings to powder coat (so I can keep everything stock if I want to) but thats still $400 to have some beauty rings sitting in my basement.

I definitely plan on having them powder coated gloss black. I am going to add Ford Performance black lugs (so that'll be an extra cost) as well.

Already have the black emblem ordered.

For the price - I'm going to stick with and add the Ford Rock Rails (I know they are body mount) but they claim that they will hold 1.5x the weight of the vehicle so it should do enough.

Overall I'm going for a very clean, simple, and somewhat blacked out look to go onto the Eruption Green.

Outstanding looking Bronco. You mention the interior of the OBX was your favorite. The OBX interior options is the only reason I didn’t go OBX. It is the model I should have but I just couldn’t get past the the interiors. Enjoy your fine looking OBX.

All black would be my first choice for interior, but I have to say the R/B and NP both look great in leather. I have the NP and love it! The camo is the one I couldn't handle. Funny how seat color drove many of us to trims, but you have to look at it every day.
