Best exhaust?

Looking for a beefy sounding exhaust! Any suggestions?

Just installed AWE cat back... ehh. Sounds ok, little drone 73mph 2100rpm 2300 rpm. 2.3 manual. 2 door. Sorta starting to regret purchase quiet may be best

Out of the 8 systems we've installed, tested and reviewed in my personal opinion the AWE sounds the best to me. Not only does their dual tip and single tip catback sound great even just the bash guard setup sounds really good.

Roush sounds really good - Nice deep bass tone to it. No rasp.


MRT Trail rated - I liked this system a lot too. Drove a 12 hour trip with it on and throughout the mountains on some trails and it was awesome.


MRT King of the Hill


Kooks - Very subtle sounding but a good improvement over stock. No drone or rasp. Definitely for those who want a better deeper sound for their bronco but not anything aggressive.



Thermal R&D - Sounds great. Subtle while cruising but a good growl out of it when you get on it.

Borla Sport would be my choice. Touring is too quiet and X-Type is too loudish.

Putting exhausts on these Broncos makes them sound like a punk ass kids Civic.

Absolutely. That's why my Raptor P/U has stock exhaust and my Bronco will stay stock. Six cylinder engines will never have that V8 growl.

Awe sounds great but at 970 it doesnt sound that great vs just putting a straight pipe on after muffler.

One more vote for none.

I'm pretty sure there is no exhaust that will make either of the Bronco engines sound good. It's rare to find any V-6 that sounds good, in my opinion. For sure I've never heard a Mustang V-6 or Challenger V-6 with aftermarket exhaust that sounded good.

You'll just get an obnoxious sound.
