I was serious about using compressed air. I drove in the dirt for 4 days without a rear window. Bad interior dusting! An air gun and compressor did a great job of cleaning it up, followed by a wet soft cloth..

It works well!
I use my cordless leaf blower most of the time and am able to get it blown out a bit better.
Air gun works like a charm for the nooks and crannies.

I wonder what they do at the Off-Roadeo with their fleet. At the end of the day the entire interior was wrecked between the dust in the morning and mud later in the day, I was embarrassed to return their vehicle in such condition. I'm convinced that they have a crew that scrubs these things down all night for the next day's operations. When we got in it in the morning, it was nice, but by the end of the day it looked it would take hours to get cleaned back up. No dust repellent, just a thorough cleaning.

I use a California duster. Works well for dust only, inside and out. Been using it for years on the Vivid Black Harley with no problems. Have never seen or heard of anything that repels dust.

I spent Saturday top down driving through the dusty Hungry Valley OHV area.

My Bronco less than a month old and looked factory fresh before covering it with thick layer of dust like i've never seen inside a vehicle (never off-roaded a convertible before)

First Step: Vacuum (So you are not blowing excess debris around the vehicle)
Second step: leaf blower, but not too aggressive, don't want to lodge particles where they're going to cause more problems
Third Step : Clean wet microfiber, followed by dry microfiber towels - Start with the dash and sensitive areas first, then move to the less sensitive areas like door sills. You will have to constantly clean the microfiber towels out with clean water so you don't get mud streaks everywhere.
Fourth step: Compressed air gently

A nice layer of mud on the interior hides any dust and debris quite well. There are products that claim to reduce dust accumulation, but they are more referring to dust as in dead skin cells/bacteria/ash...like what you see floating in the light at your house.

To clean, as others said leaf blower and compressed air, then follow up with interior cleaner and microfiber towel. Even then, you may never get it all out. I still have Utah red sand that I find in out of sight places in my Bronco even after some thorough cleaning and EJS was 2 months ago. Best to just embrace.
