On road your going to question your sanity. Off road you will appreciate everything that questioned your sanity. You will not take it to it's limits.

I question the short and long term success of the Bronco. I hope for the best.

But I know one thing for sure: This car has been reimagined by what used to be the largest car manufacture in the world and will be the last greatest attempt to build an off-road vehicle with a soul.

The Bronco may not be "perfect" (and I wish Ford would allow 100% configurability regardless of trims etc...) but will be the most configurable vehicle...ever? (If the 200 accessories weren't just basically links to companies that make lights and roof racks. I was really hoping for more creativity here.)

I plan on buying one because future models or future vehicles will continue to decline to side with environmental standards or customer trends.

Everyone has different reasons; but, for me this seems like it will be the last chance to get a true off-road vehicle with a manual transmission. (Yes I know how AT is soo much better...) Also I'm a slight hypocrite because I do care about the environment and safety of my family while exploring.

So... Why are you buying a Bronco!?

The bronco is the only thing that peeked my interest. Toyota has dropped the ball with the 4runner never updating it and jeeps have basically looked the same since they first came out. Plus they are pretty low on the reliability list

Because I reserved one instead of a cybertruck and all the competitors I'd be interested in (TRX, GMC) are out of my price range.

Because it’s an off-road capable vehicle not made bye FCA...sorry Stellantis.

The Bronco may not be "perfect" (and I wish Ford would allow 100% configurability irregardless of trims etc...)
And nailed one of my pet peeves.....”irregardless”, ew.

One of my pet peeves is calling a truck a car...not that you did, but a lot of folks here keeping doing so, and you brought up pet peeves. If you want a car, buy the Sport.

I want one for the same reasons I always wanted a wrangler.
It’s a convertible that’s not a car.
It’s the most convertible of all convertibles.
It’s a convertible that has more than 2 usable seats.
TBH I don’t care how capable it is off-road, I would by a RWD variant if they offered it with the price savings that would come with that(4WD is a $4k upgrade on the Ranger).

Nice summary of my thoughts right here.

Bronco is so refreshing after years of crossover "SUVs." Jeep has been there, but it's a Chrysler so no.

The chance to have a bronco - the bronco was my dads vehicle when I was a kid
Riding in the damn thing on the gravel roads with my old man was a special memory I hope to continue with this cool rig...

Good timing: Lancer has 240k miles, ready to replace; I've been taking sight-seeing trips, the Bronco will help me go deeper into nature; new release of an iconic vehicle and I want to experience it; had very slight interest in the Jeep but it never tripped my trigger, I was all over the Bronco at release; been 15 years since I had a 4x4 (Isuzu Rodeo manual), time to get back in; it's a pretty good looking vehicle, 2-dr manual, really tripped my trigger! I'm all in!

It is a smaller off-road vehicle so I can explore more than my Raptor will take me. No more cringing over Arizona pinstripes. Only downside I can think is I will lose the ride comfort I have in the Raptor.
