At SuperCel East, I was able to ride along in a 2-door. After the fact, I realized that the MIC top had the sound deadening material. I also realized that talking in the cabin had not been a problem when we were up to speed on the highway coming and going to the course.
It was just one of those little things that you think about after the fact. So, the best surprise was no surprise.

FWIW, I rode in a 2 door with the Bestop and had no problems carrying on a conversation with the legendary Curt. Except when he was gunning it!

I believe some models have additional chassis sound deadening .

The only thing I noticed about the sound deadening in the WT we were in. If you touched it. It sheds. Wasn’t horrible but wasnt like I figured either. I didn’t notice road noise much. We had Jake the trophy truck builder out of Vegas. He said they were aired down to around 30psi and honestly I couldn’t tell at all. I mean the noise was no different then owning an SUV with wide 35s.

He was super cool!! Vegas Off Roadeo is the one I wanna hit. I didn’t think to ask him if he would be involved in it.

When will this be happening? I live in Vegas and want to go too!
They said registration begins April 27th. I’m not sure what it means exactly. They haven’t said the dates of any of the rodeos other than I believe Austin is first. I’m hoping for more information next Tuesday.

Thanks. I have been trying to get a better sense of noise inside the vehicle when highway/road driving. Appreciate this.

It felt like I was in a BMW not a off road SUV with 35 inch tires. That’s how smooth it was on the highway.

I did get an email from Ford saying to stay tuned. Let’s hope it’s soon!
