What does "soon" mean in this situation? I've had money in hand for 3 years now waiting for this.....tired of waiting for what should have been standard from the factory.

That was kinda my thought as well….not even close to what most of us requested….the simple 2 door, square back top that folded all the way was the most requested item I read…..not a fancy expensive gimmick top.

Make a non powered manual version of the top where you can fold it all the way back in one motion just like the etop minus motors. You can add soft close dampers to avoid any chopped fingers

I agree but the cage is the deal breaker on the Bronco. No way to make a fold down top that’ll flop all the way down, that won’t look like sh*t when up. I’m sure designers wanted to make a top that’d lower all the way, but they couldn’t. You guys will pine on this subject forever. I’m perfectly happy with the way it is. My 2 cents

The old 4Runners had a roll bar in the back and Kayline made a soft top that folded all the way down. It really comes down to how you mount the supports to clear the roll bar.

Hey Crystal, what about simply manufacturing your existing tops in Pebble Beige (like what is currently done for the Wrangler) fabric?

Additionally, Haartz makes their Stayfast Cloth fabric in Oyster White -- I have personal experience with that material on my convertible Saturn Sky Redline.

My question to the Bestop decision makers is this:
How much easier would it be to produce your existing tops with new fabric colors compared to the development of a brand new product with lots of untested moving parts?

I was actually discussing this with my manager this morning—not necessarily about adding more color options, but about expanding our existing tops to models we don’t currently offer them for. The Pebble Beige tops for Wranglers are a limited-time, made-to-order option. That said, your suggestion makes a lot of sense! I’ll be sure to bring it up in our next team meeting.

Can’t repeat enough!! Make the cables for the skyrider at least 4 times tougher; its success really depends on those $20 cables. You could have thick tense material $80 ones there without any profit dent. If not possible the. At least make the supply chain such that one can get a replacement as soon as something breaks. Or provide 10 replacements when you sell a skyrider top.
