Did we mention how rad that 2021 AMB in the thread starter would look with a kahki/tan top? Do we have to wait for JC Whitney to beat you to the punch with color options. What's so hard about buying a roll of fabric in an alternate color? We see Wranglers in all shades. Obviously from a different manufacturer or you would have color choices already

As everyone has already stated, a top (TrekTop or OEM-style) that folds all the way back instead of riding on the rear rollbars looking like an afterthought. Just discovered a nice 6" gash in my OEM soft top and was looking to drop cash on a new Trektop but not a huge fan of not being able to fold it all the way back.

Also, a Duster cover for the cargo area. Had one on my JKU and loved running it with just the Safari top installed! Certainly not trying to Jeep up the Bronco but some similar options would be nice.

While I understand the sentiment about favoritism being shown to the Jeep community, I don't necessarily agree. Yes there are a plethora of options out there for Jeeps but they've also been in the market for years, with the current iteration being available since the JK was released as a 2007 model. The current Bronco has only been out for 3 years now so it will take some time for aftermarket manufacturers to release products for it. I have full faith that these products will come....we just need to remain patient. I do appreciate that Bestop is taking an opportunity to ask the community what we want and willing to work on bringing those wishes to fruition.

@Bestop_Team
My personal priority order...
  • Ability to drop the 4 door all the way back.
  • Remove the rear window without taking out the side windows.
  • I'm ok with keeping the logo, if you make it darker, off center, something more subtle.
  • Popping rear up like the OEM is more useful than I expected, but not necessary.
  • Easy removal of the entire top. I've never taken OEM soft top fully off bc it's a massive PITA.

The Trektop seems a bit over-engineered in my opinion. Granted, I don't design tops, but it seems it could be made simpler to install and take off for those of us who want to switch back and forth with the hard top.

Agree with others about making the top fold all the way back.

1. I agree on the fold all the way back. I had a Bestop on my 2 door and loved the look and the tight windows, but didn't like having to close it to pull in the garage.

2. Needs to be easier to switch back and forth with hardtop, shouldn't require as much hardware removal as it does. This is why I bought the dual top option on my 4 door instead of Bestop, prefer the look of Bestop (fastback style and tight windows), but factory is just door trim pillar and 6 bolts and I can put the hardtop back on and I prefer the hardtop for the glass windows if taking a trip.

Bestop Team,

First and foremost, thank you for reaching out to the Bronco community for feedback on your 6th generation product offerings. It’s great to see manufacturers engaging with their customers.

However, I must express a significant level of frustration shared by many in the Bronco community. For years, countless Bronco enthusiasts have voiced their requests across various forums, social media platforms, and community groups for specific product features. Despite these repeated requests, it seems our feedback has been largely ignored.

Key Requests from the Bronco Community:

Matching Skyrider and Sunrider Tops
:

There has been a persistent demand for Skyrider and especially Sunrider tops that match the gray MIC hardtops. The current offerings look mismatched, Sunrider tops look like eyebrows next to our gray MIC hardtops. This aesthetic discord is a major concern for many Bronco owners.

Retractable Soft Tops:
Owners want a fully retractable soft top that folds all the way down, similar to what is available for Jeep models. The current designs leave the soft top looking crumpled or like a “man bun” on top of the Bronco, which is not visually appealing.

Additional Color Options:
Offering soft tops in colors other than black, such as gray, olive, white, and red, would be greatly appreciated. These options allow for greater customization and personal expression.

Square-Back Soft Tops:
Many owners prefer a proper square-back soft top that folds completely back, providing a more classic and functional look similar to the Jeep Wrangler.

Subtle Branding:
The large, white logos on the current tops are considered tacky and an eyesore. A more subtle, tone-on-tone branding would be much more acceptable and aesthetically pleasing.

Half Tops:
There’s a significant interest in half tops for the two-door models. This design would offer versatility and a unique look, highly requested by the community.

Rear Window Fold-Up:
A method to have the rear window stay folded up on the roof for open-air driving.

Perceived Favoritism:
It is disheartening to see the level of attention and customization options provided to Jeep owners compared to Bronco owners. The favoritism towards Jeep products is quite evident, and it feels like the Bronco community’s needs are not being prioritized.

Actionable Feedback:
We urge Bestop to take this feedback seriously and demonstrate that the Bronco community’s voices are heard and valued. Investing in these requested features will not only enhance customer satisfaction but also solidify Bestop’s reputation as a brand that listens and responds to its customers.

Transparency and Accountability
To ensure that community requests are heard this time, I will be tracking these requests and adding any new ones from the community. We will monitor what is delivered and when, to see if this engagement is genuine or simply an exercise in wasting our time.

We look forward to seeing tangible improvements and new product offerings that cater specifically to the needs of the Bronco community.

Thank you! :)
thank you - you summarized everything I would have shared to upgrade the OEM soft top. The only thing I would add is an electronic option for quick back

Hey Bronco owners đź‘‹

The 6th generation Ford Bronco made a remarkable comeback after a 25-year hiatus. During its development, Ford actively involved Bronco enthusiasts, integrating their feedback into the vehicle's final design, contributing significantly to its successful acceptance.

I'm very surprised that a Windjammer option has only been mentioned once. I would love a windjammer option for the 4-door bronco that can integrate with most cargo tonneau covers or possibly offer a combo windjammer/cargo tonneau combo set. This combined with a well-fitted bikini top would allow us hard top owners to have an easy and modular summer soft top option that accounts for weather. Please and thank you!

I would love to have a top that is a different color. Something like the one I put on my '78 CJ5. If you did a soft top in tan with soft doors, I would be onboard instantly. I realize it would be more expensive. Can you imagine how this would look on an Eruption Green Bronco? WOW!!!
I sure do miss my '78...
Ford Bronco Bestop wants to hear from YOU! What features would you like to see on our 6th gen products? jeep2

Half doors, similar to what Jeep has and a soft upper.
